I am so thankful that Matthew is 100% donor stuff! I feel for Logan - I was having 24/7 migraines, too...with a lovely sprinkling of horrible dizziness. I went to the Balance/dizziness center at ENT, and they diagnosed the "migraines with vertigo". They put me on a migraine preventative called Elavil (generic: Amitriptyline) and IT WORKS. I get 2-3 per month now. Amitriptyline is actually an anti-depressant, because the latest theories involve brain chemicals - serotonin to be specific. Are you still at EBM? Take care! I pray he's out enjoying his summer in no time. You know, it's just a thought, but my family experiences migraines during mold season (which is now!). And a family at our church had a child with these extreme migraines, finding very little relief (and his mom was a pediatric nurse!). This poor child endured tests to rule out a brain tumor, causing a fear I bet you're all too familiar with. Tests revealed nothing, but they discovered their home had mold growing in the basement! "Frank" has been migraine-free since the mold (they never knew they had) had been removed. Take care. ~Michelle from Cincinnati, Ohio micheller@cinci.rr.com ~Michelle~ - Tuesday, July 21, 2009 8:48 PM CDT Hi... Brody's Mom - Brenda Sharpsville, IN - Friday, February 20, 2009 9:49 PM CST Hiya Matthew ~ Glad you had a Happy 17th birthday!! :0) I realize I've slacked off on the jokes (sorry) so here is one for the weekend!! Enjoy!! :0) *********************************************** Morris and his wife Esther went to the state fair every year, and every year Morris would say, 'Esther, I'd like to ride in that helicopter.' Esther always replied, 'I know Morris, but that helicopter ride is fifty dollars, and fifty dollars is fifty dollars' One year Esther and Morris went to the fair, and Morris said, 'Esther, I'm 85 years old. If I don't ride that helicopter, I might never get another chance.' To this, Esther replied, 'Morris that helicopter ride is fifty dollars, and fifty dollars is fifty dollars.' The pilot overheard the couple and said, 'Folks I'll make you a deal. I'll take the both of you for a ride. If you can stay quiet for the entire ride and don't say a word I won't charge you a penny! But if you say one word it's fifty dollars.' Morris and Esther agreed and up they went. The pilot did all kinds of fancy maneuvers, but not a word was heard. He did his daredevil tricks over and over again, but still not a word. When they landed, the pilot turned to Morris and said, 'By golly, I did everything I could to get you to yell out, but you didn't. I'm impressed!' Morris replied, 'Well, to tell you the truth, I almost said something when Esther fell out, but you know, fifty dollars is fifty dollars! *********************************************************** Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
