Jonathon Brown

Jonathon was diagnosed with a brain tumor on March 25, which was removed during a 10 hour surgery on March 29, 2002.

It was about a month later that we were told that it was Medulloblastoma, a malignant tumor that would need a lot of long and hard treatment.

Hope this finds you all happy and healthy. It's been awhile since I updated - mom's site has been keeping me pretty busy. I have also added a link to my aunt's page. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Feel free to check out her site.

Jonathon had an appointment with his radiation oncologist last week. As far as he is concerned things are wonderful. He will continue to see Jonathon once a year. He is sending Jonathon for a hearing test as we fear that his hearing has become worse.

He isn't due for another MRI until August but will see his medical oncologist in July. His endocrinologist upped his thyroid medication but other than that, things are going really well.

Jonathon just finished his first year of college. He was just doing general studies because he hadn't decided for sure what he wanted to do. In the fall, he will be majoring in business administration. He loves college and actually looks forward to going ... He is still working at JayC in Salem and lately has been working a lot of hours.

He and his girlfriend Danyelle recently attended her junior prom. (i am going to try to get pics on the website but may have to wait for Melanie to get that done.) He stays pretty busy but always enjoys hanging out with her and his buddies.

Thanks to all who continue to check in on Jonathon. He still has struggles (always will have) but he has adjusted to them very well, however we both still have good and bad days. So thanks for the continuing support and prayers.
