LAST CHEMO DAY - APRIL 28, 2006!!!!

Cammie was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) on September 24, 2002. She began the Maintenance phase of her treatment in June of 2003 and was due to end treatment in November of 2004...however, that is not the way that things worked out. On March 10, 2004, the day after her 3rd Birthday, Camryn's doctor called and gave me the horrible news that she had relapsed and we would be starting all over again.

These Are DaysThese are days you’ll remember.
Never before and never since, I promise, will the whole world be warm as this.
And as you feel it, you’ll know it’s true that you are blessed and lucky.
It’s true that you are touched by something that will grow and bloom in you.
These are days you’ll remember.
When may is rushing over you with desire to be part of the miracles you see in every hour.
You’ll know it’s true that you are blessed and lucky.
It’s true that you are touched by something that will grow and bloom in you.
These are days.
These are the days you might fill with laughter until you break.
These days you might feel a shaft of light make it’s way across your face.
And when you do you’ll know how it was meant to be.
See the signs and know their meaning.
It’s true, you’ll know how it was meant to be.
Hear the signs and know they’re speaking to you, to you.

Wow! It has been a VERY long time since I've been here. The reasons are various and I'm not going into those today. I just wanted to stop by and share that Cammie had an AMAZING 7th birthday with several of her school friends. We had her party at the Gym that she goes to for Cheerleading practice. She's a trip! She's 7 going on 27 and very girlie!!!! As I have said a gazillion times before, I adore that child!!! She is awesome!
I also wanted to share her GRADUATION PICTURE! She will be graduating from Kindergarten this year and leaving me for 1st grade! Sigh. What more can I say about that?!?!
Anyway, I must be off, I have to go and get the little doll to help me wash her bedroom door. She had some free time yesterday and decided to hold a math class for all of her baby dolls...opting to use the door for a CHALKBOARD! I hope pencil really does wash off easily!!!!

Take Care and thank you for thinking about Miss Cammie!
