Forever 13 Zachary Allen 8-1-92 - 5-26-06
Zachary Allen will never be forgotten. It will not be how he died that people will remember, but how he lived - and now how he lives forever. As his mother I will live the rest of my life to tell my Zachary's legacy and the courageous life he lead. How he taught everyone that he came in contact with and how he lived his life full of love. Love you my son!

BEST BUDS FOREVER KRIS & ZACHARY
Welcome to Zach's Journal. It was used to keep friends and family updated on my son. . . Zachary's journey of fighting Relapsed Stage IV Neuroblastoma (now it's being used to share Zachary's mission in life). Zachary started the 8th grade at GSLS (in 2005). He is on the Student Council (Vice President). Zach relapsed for the 4th time in March, 2004. Zachary has endured so much since the start of his fight - June, 1997. Please keep him in your prayers - He is believing in a Miracle - Let's believe with him - Believe for His Miracle!!! Zachary got his miracle - on May 26, 2006 - Zachary left this earth with a one way ticket to heaven - ETERNALLY in remission - ETERNALLY all better!! Zachary graduated from 8th grade May 19, 2006. He was so proud - when they presented his diploma - he sat up in his bed and looked at it for almost 20 minutes with a smile. Mommy will miss you until we are together again!!

Meet Zach's Nurses . . . Every single one has been Zach's nurse since 1997. Each one is the best nurse ever!! He loves each one! God knows what kind of nurses Zach needs through this whole thing! Ruth, Beth, Sue, Wendy and Kristen - When Zach was 5 he would leave love messages for Kristen on the dry erase board :-)

“My Mom Lies” - Author Unknown
My Mom, she tells a lot of lies She never did before. From now until she dies, She'll tell a whole lot more.
Ask my Mom how she is And because she can't explain, She will tell a little lie Because she can't describe the pain.
Ask my Mom how she is,
She'll say, "I'm alright". If that's the truth, then tell me, why does she cry each night?
Ask my Mom how she is, She seems to cope so well. She didn't have a choice you see nor the strength to yell.
Ask my Mom how she is, "I'm fine, I’m well, I'm coping". For God's sake Mom, just tell the truth just say your heart is broken.
She'll love me all her life, I loved her all of mine. But if you ask her how she is, She'll lie and say she's fine.
I am Here in Heaven. I cannot hug from here. If she lies to you don't listen, Hug her and hold her near.
On the day we meet again, We'll smile and I'll be bold. I'll say, “You’re lucky to get in here, Mom With all the lies you told!"

************************* Zachary would often worry about his family, his classmates, and everyone else who knew him. But he did not worry about what would happen to him. His relationship with His Savior, Jesus, gave him a hope that has now become Zachary's everlasting reality. *************************************
Journal
Saturday, February 13, 2010 2:23 PM CST It's so hard to get on here and update my Zachary's site. You probably think man you need to update your pictures. The reality is I no longer have updated pictures to show you of Zachary. and This is Zach's site and I would never take that away. I'm still praying that he could make a difference in just one more person's life even though he may not be here on this earth. He lives forever in my memories and now I share them with you.
He has another little sister - Emma Grace. I know he would be lovin' her. She is so much like Zachary :-) My children are such awesome gifts from God and I thank him for them each and every day.
Valentines is tomorrow - I remember Zachary wanting to have a BIG Party - I love those pictures of all the kids from Good Shephard. Those were good memories. Sometimes I get so mad because the other parents are getting ready to see their children graduate High School this year - and see them start their Dream of their University and Life. Zachary's dreams changed - he dreamed of living one more day. He dreamed of crossing off just one more item off his list of things he wanted to accomplish before seeing Jesus. He dreamed of his mom and sister being taken care of by John. He dreamed of Heaven. Now that is his reality.
Love you Zachary - trying to do what you told me - you told me to pretend that you were staying in the dorms at University of Illinois - It gets so hard Zach - I miss you sooooooooooooooo much!! LOVE YOU LOVE YOU LOVE YOU!!!
