Dear Cindy, my heart just aches for you. I have been down a similar path with my Jessica when she was going through all of her testing and meds. for the child onset lukemia. It was always so much harder when Steve would go out of town for work and it always seemed to get worse. I wish I could be there to help you through this. I can relate. I will pray for you all this week that God will lift you and Noah up and protect you and shelter you from this storm and that you would feel his peace that goes beyond all understanding and that His grace would be sufficient. To my dear cuz, Alex,
What a treat to see Noah's beautiful face right on the home page! (I must confess his bee-costume photo is my laptop's wallpaper, so he cheers me up all the time that I'm working on the computer.) I would love to see more about Noah on the home page. What do you think? Like a brief little write-up about who he is, what he likes, dislikes… you know, what makes him tick.
It'd been so long since we'd seen Noah and Cindy (winter colds that got passed around at home, and my own surgery and recovery) that I couldn't believe how far Noah's come just in these past few months. He looks great and to see him make the effort to walk… and he even worked out on some weights! He's so cheerful and loving… and such a fighter!
And you and Cindy, well, hats off to you both for your strong faith and courage—an inspiration to all those around you. I pray that you remain strong, working together, looking forward… What a blessing, that you two have each other… and your faith in our Lord's will for you.
We're grateful to be a part of your lives.
