Bob's Transplant

Welcome to Bob's Transplant Web Page. It has been provided to keep friends updated.

This is Bob's 3rd stem cell transplant and 2nd cord blood transplant! Bob got his 2nd cord blood on Oct. 4th, 2006.

Dear Family and Friends,

I cannot begin to express how I feel towards each and every one of you.

To my sister Susan, Mom, Dad and brother Marc, your support and love have helped me more than you will ever know …In my difficult times you did not give up on me - you helped me even more. You have been there for me even when I was not able to be there for myself. I love you all very much.

I would also like to express my gratitude and appreciation for those who donated their platelets. By you doing this, I am getting stronger day-by-day. I could not have done this without your help. I am really thankful.

I want everyone to know their encouraging words and thoughts on this website bring a smile to my face each day. I am overwhelmed with all the prayers and support you have given me. I am blessed with so many friends and a wonderful family.

Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart.

Love,
Bob

God saw he was getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around him
And whispered, “Come with Me.”

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer
And saw him fade away,
Although we loved him dearly
We could not make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

We Love You Bob,
You will live forever in our hearts
Mom, Dad, Susan and Marc
