Kate is home!!!

We're home from China with our beautiful Kate!!!!

Greetings from the Lahsin household! Things are just wonderful here, and Kate is an absolute joy. She is really beginning to pick up on language and is saying, "mama, dada, cat, meow, one, two, three." We think this is pretty impressive considering that she's only heard English for four weeks or so.

We are getting ready for the holidays. We will be celebrating Thankgiving Day with the Lahsins, and I'll be making a turkey dinner for Joe, Kate and myself on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. That's the only way to ensure that we will have leftovers!!!

Joe and I are truly looking forward to Christmas this year. I just can't wait to see the look on Kate's face when she sees the Christmas tree! We've purchased a bunch of soft ornanments that she can pull off of the tree at will. We have so much to celebrate this year. Kate is a delightful, happy and energetic little girl. She is walking all over the place and terrorizing the cats daily. They have learned to keep their respective tails out of the way of her little hands.

I'll be visiting my office this week and cannot wait for everyone to meet Kate! I miss everyone a lot...it will be great to see all of my friends.
