I am really glad to your son has pulled through. My cousin she is 11 and has AML and is very scared and sad right now. Amber is in Memphis TN at St Judes the last we heard on Friday her Immune system right now is zero. I was just searching for some encouraging words to send her. They say that the cards and letters she gets helps her. Well Thanks and God Bless the Children

Hi everyone!

Just checking in, hoping you are having a wonderful summer thus far. Kyle just got out of school June 1st and is taking FULL ADVANTAGE of that by playing video games until bedtime! LOL That lasts a few weeks....then the "boredom" begins to set in and we start doing "other" things. But, hey....let him play whatever he wants and be happy! The kids do so much in school and have so little time for THEMSELVES that I say....do what you want for the couple of months you have to yourself! Think of you all always....forever in my prayers.
Blessings,
Eileen

Dear Jeremy, mommy is right. Enjoy your life and leave the past where it belongs, in the past. Look ahead with optimism. Have hope, plan the future, even small things... this a great thing to do. You are a different person as anyone who experiences what you have, but it has only made you better. If some things continue to bother you, than maybe talking to some professional would do the trick.
Lots of love from Brasil.

Great news!! I've been checking every day since Monday, especially after your last update.
I certainly don't worry half as much as I used to. That black cloud that has been over our heads sometimes lets the sun shine thru. The fear is always there but I think the mind just gets so tired of continually thinking "What if?" "My God, how would we cope?" etc. etc. that it shuts down.
Of course all it takes is Gemma going to bed early with a headache and all my good intentions are up in the air....!!

Hey lady! It is I! I am able to take a moment and say hello. I can SO relate to the survivor guilt and the fear.
Looking back on Aizees illness, I am afraid because I feel we sailed through it just a little bit too easily and once a month blood check, I am wondering will we be caught this time? Does that make any sense at all? Probably not...
anyway, one day at a time. Your life will always be different and it is a blech thing, but you can create a new type of life. Things will settle down. Right now you are in sort of a limbo thing. Jerm is not as sick as he was, yet he is not quite where everyone wants him to be health wise. It will come. ~ya right, tell that to an impatient kid~ It is hard and it can suck. And I so wish I had any answers for all of us. But I don't. All I can do is say I can understand and I am here if you want to write me.
I hope you and yours have a WONDERFUL holiday.

Oh how I LOVE reading upbeat journals, I just am so thrilled that all is going so very well for Jeremy! And you know, you have a wonderful attitude about "balancing" what Jeremy can and cannot do - not living in a bubble, yet avoiding the most obvious trouble spots such as crowds, etc...I am sure the doctors do not agree as is their job to do so, but being a parent you are most often right to follow your heart. I admire all of you. Hope all continues to go so well, you are in my thoughts and prayers always. Enjoy the day, it is a blessing! :)

It has been a while since I signed the book, but I check in on ya'll daily... I am SO HAPPY to hear things are going well... Your family is always in our thoughts and prayers.... Jeremy is pretty lucky that he is getting to go to Movies... Christina is still not even allowed into a store and it has been 9 months since transplant... I guess every doctor is different... Needless to say CHristina is VERY jealous... Well, I hope the next update is good too...

Lots of Love and Well Wishes, The Gates FAmily

Hi Jeremy,
I do not know where the time has gone. I think the the older, I get the slower I move, and the time speeds up.
I want you to know that your ewe lamb is being sheared Sunday and I am sending off her paper work to be registered Monday.
I am so thrilled that your tests today were so good.
Work on your strength, so that you will be able to lead her and show her next year. I or Kevin will show her this year.
Kevin and I picked cherries last Sunday on the way back from his swim meet. We talked about you and wished you were with us.
Give your Mom, Jessie and Ray, a hug and kiss for me.
Love you all.

Hi,

So glad to hear you have been getting out and doing something. Doesn't that feel good to just get out and join society? I know it does.

We were up in the clinic today. For some unknown reason Dev got sick last night...and somehow got dehydrated really quick...so IV's fixed him up and he's ok now. Its always something.

I have heard that Harry Potter movie is good. We havent' been to a movie in a while. We're hoping to go to the drive in this weekend...have you gone? Its pretty nice...and seems 'safe' compared to sitting in a theatre. Anyway...would be more than happy to meet up with you guys if you're interested.

Hi,

Hope things are going smoothly for you guys. Kara just finished kindergarten on Friday so it is a little chaotic around here. I'm hoping to keep Devin well and his counts up and get out and do something. Call me if you're interested in meeting up somewhere.

Also, we'll be up at the hospital on Friday for some scans..with the rest to be done on the 21st. I'm trying not to think about them. Right now Dev is officially on 'maintenance' and doing ok. A little early to brag since it hasn't been a week, but doing good.

Talk to you soon,

YEA for bustin' out of there!!!!! I'm so glad that you are doing so well Jeremy. I do pray that the fevers stay away, that you continue to heal. You have an awesome time at the movie!! I wish our theater here in Vernal had more show times throughout the day instead of just evening show times so we could go when it isn't too crowded. You have fun and thanks to Cheryl below for the tip to stay in your seat for the credits. :) Take care buddy!

Jeremy, I read a story about a famous football player that gave his son a dime each time he brought home a perfect paper from school. After a very hard played football game, in which the football player dad felt he had played poorly, he came home late that night to find a note on his pillow from his son. The note read, "Dear Dad, You played a great game. Love your son. Taped to the pillow were two dimes.

Jeremy, my point is you are a two dime person every day!!!

Glad to hear such good news about your recovery.

Jeremy,
It's so good to hear all of the good news since your operation. Jesse Andrus keeps us up to date in the class. We miss you very much and hope to see you soon. We are doing a lot of math, reading, and language because the ISATs are just around the corner. Don't worry, I am compiling a large pile of work for you to do. I know you must miss it. For now, keep getting better. You're an awesome young man, I'm so proud of you. We'll be reading about your progress in class.

Hi guys! Aizee and I will be at clinic this coming thursday. Can I come up and say hello? And is there anything you would like me to bring you? Chocolate? A book? Dental Floss? Anything Jerm would want? Like a comic book or somthing? Just let me know! :)
Rob works for a private school, the kids do recycling. They are great about popping off all the tabs. I always have a 10 pound bag of pop-tabs when we go to clinic! So, I hope that all those tabs helped the RMH have neat stuff for Jerm to do when he gets there!:)
Keep up the great recovery dude!

JT,

Here is a poem that tells how I feel about cancer. The hospital even published it in their newsletter for Dr. Seuss' 100th birthday in March!! Pretty cool!!

Cancer In Seussical Form

By Devin Ross

I do not want it in here
Not here, not there, not anywhere.

Take this cancer
Take it all!!

Let chemo make it very small.

So small it does not exist,
Take it away, I insist !!

I’ve got things to do
Places to be.

My dream is to be cancer-free !

I’m only a kid,
Should I have to fight this fight?

I wish cancer was EXTINCT
With all of my might!!

Hi JT,

This is my first time to your site. I'm sorry we didn't get to hook up while I was up there in the hospital. I probably didn't feel much like talking anyway. You probably didn't either.

I hope you start feeling better soon. I am glad to hear your sister is a match. Its good to have sisters, even though they can be annoying sometimes. I know I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

Well, if all goes well I will be back up at PCMC on Monday for an LP and more CHEMO. I'm not looking forward to it. I"ll try and come say hi, if that's ok with you.

Have a good weekend....oh, and if you're feeling like ice cream I recommend the nestle crunch bites from the cafeteria...they are really good!!

Your friend,

Devin

Hey, Jeremy,
Saturday Christina and I dewormed the lambs and took their numbers. I have been spending the week looking up sheep records as we have been neglectful for the last year and half in keeping up the records. I have it done now and the paper work is ready to send to the registry to be recorded. I have registered your lamb as Jenny and her number is 252.
Kevin or I will hold her is the show ring. Next summer you will be able to show her yourself. She is gentle and will be a fine ewe. I can't think of anything nicer than you spending the summer with us.
Grandma-Grandma sends her love.
I am sending you my love.

Good morning Pam and Jeremy,
Well, our family has been pretty busy with soccer and with me coaching Taylor's team. As expected it it pretty comical to have me coaching as I know nothing. This week we have a soccer game every night of the week and of course it has been raining all week, as well. Jeremy I hope you are feeling better. Pam, I really miss you!!!I have so much I have needed to share and to talk to you about. I will call this weekend. Take care of yourselves. Hopefully we will be making a trip to SLC in June and by then Jeremy will be well enough to do some fun things with us!!!!

Hi, Pam and Jeremy, Although I have been on the jury in Boise, all of you are in my thoughts and prayers daily. Shelley shared that everything went well for the bone marrow transplant, and I am sure everyone was relieved to have it behind you.

Nothing like a nice, relaxing bath at the end of the day. Good for you, Jeremy. How about you, Pam, do they make provisions for moms to soak as well?

Hang in there and treat yourselves well. Barb

Hey Jeremy,
I am glad to read that things are going well. I pray they continue to go well and that you don't get sick from all that radiation. You're sure are a silly guy...just take the laxative and "get it over with" as Matthew would say..even if you don't want to. You'll feel better soon after! :-) Matthew drew and colored several of the tiles along the nurses desks...a house with a rainbow and a panda bear with green background. I did a 2 frogs. My favorite frog that I did is the one on a lilypad catching a dragonfly in its mouth. Matthew's brother, Lane, did one too. Lane's is the snake in the desert scene. (That is... if you feel like looking for them.)

I loved the pictures from your wish trip! Thanks for sharing them here.

Take care and I'll check on you again soon.
Love,

"The Strength of an Egg"

Parents of children with cancer are often referred to or viewed as having "strength like a rock". Albeit flattering it is not quite true. It is more like the strength of an egg. An egg you ask? Yes!
If you'll think about it, you'll see my point.

An egg has a polished, smooth outer appearance, with no cracks or weak spots visible. It seems almost inconceivable that the inside might not be
as smooth or solid.

Most children, at some point, are shown the famous egg trick. An egg set at just the right angle can withstand enormous amounts of pressure and cannot be cracked or broken. Yet the same egg, tapped gently at an even
slightly different angle, will break. The contents, once so neatly concealed, will come spilling out. The no-longer perfect shell will be crushed. It looks so fragile that it seems inconceivable that it ever held any strength.

A rock, on the other hand is solid all the way through. To break it is almost impossible. If you succeed, you will find that there is nothing inside but more rock. It takes a lot more than pure hardness to hold the "HAND OF HOPE".

Parents of children with cancer are not solid all the way through. We hurt, we fear, we cry, we hope. It takes a very careful balancing act to keep the shell from being shattered. "Balancing an egg" while running a household,
going for doctors' visits and hospital stays, keeping the family together, and holding on to the constantly unraveling ties of your sanity can be very tricky indeed!

Occasionally, the angle will be off and the shell will break, shattering hope and the neatly secured appearances of a truly fragile existence. Unlike Humpty Dumpty, though, parents of children with cancer will pick
themselves up and put themselves back together again.

Hope nothing wrong happens and Jeremy continues to do just fine. There is a girl with ALL, whose mother is adding to his treatment a lot of alternative medicine - supplements, minerals, accupuncture, herbs, chakra balance - well, it seems its helping a lot in making her STRONG. Think about it and check good doctors (herbalists and homeopaths in your area ) - in Brazil, it is very common to use homeopathy and natural drugs. -(this mother mentioned a wholebody.concepts site...).
Lots of kisses from Brazil.

Hello, stopping in today to wish you a good day. Jeremy, so nice to read you are doing well in school. My son likes school and is doing well too and he also is doing a project on the planets. His project is due in early March. We also went on a recent field trip to a planetarium to see a light show, it was a lot of fun. So, now he and I need to get to the downtown Adler Planetarium (in Chicago, we live about an hour south of there) to see that show. Haven't been there in years--should be fun! Well, keep up the good work and ENJOY THE DAY. God bless, Eileen

Dear Harrises,
I have sure been thinking of you all so much lately. Thank you so much for the update. I will pray that he never gets to that 10% mark...EVER! and that the blasts go down. I'm so glad you have his Wish Trip to look forward to. Have you been counting down Jeremy!? We also went there in March - of 2002. It was extremely crowded during Spring Break, but we still had a great time. The kids LOVED Give Kids the World more than any of the theme parks!! Unlimited ice cream, sundaes, and shakes was one of their favorite things.
Keeping you in my prayers Jeremy.

Hello,
Just stopping by to say HELLO!!
I have found that after almost 2 yrs of this nightmare, I totaly agree with letting him ENJOY life.. Our doctor would always say, go let Christina have fun, if she get's sick it will come from within herself, not from having fun.. Meaning, the chemo, low counts etc.. can make them have so many different infections, so why put them in a bubble... We are not stupid with what she does, but I agree I would much rather her looking back years from now and be glad that even though she was going through hell, she still was able to enjoy LIFE... LIFE is allwe have anyway, right???

Well, that is my 2 cents..haha...

I do pray his counts start coming up..
You and your family are always in our prayers and thoughts...

I hope that the next CBC is a good one..
The fear of relapse will be with you forever,
no matter how good and healthy he looks...
I can say this because I am a Cancer Kids Mom..
Only we know the true feeling of fear.. I absolutely
hate that feeling, but somehow we live with it..
Every CBC I hold my breathe.. But, then the next day
comes... It is such an undescribable feeling... But, I do truly know how you feel... Please don't ever hesistate to email me if you have any guestions or concerns.. I think about your family all the time.. I stop by the page often, I just haven't stopped by and signed the guestbook..
Well, again I hope all goes well at the next doctors appointment...

I found it more helpful not to even mention my thoughts to Holly. She would be running fevers and bruising. I was also informed that the veins are still very weak from all the chemo. You can expect some bruises. So in other words it will be hard to tell if from being a boy or other reasons. Holly has been OT for way over 2 years and still gets unexplained bruises. I still ask "How did you get that"... I usually get a reply "I don't know". What you are feeling is all in the norm for a Cancer Parent. Hang in there it gets easier. If I can give any support email.

Jeremy,
We came across your site through Katia's. Your name was the first thing to catch our attention...our son is named Jeremy, too. He is battling a rare blood disease and is hopefully on his way to a cure. Funny, today is the first time we've ever visited your page and the journal entry we read is so positive and uplifting. Maybe it's a sign...all Jeremys will turn out a-ok! Hoping you are feeling well and remain in good health.

WHo is your main doc anyway? Our most favorite is Doc Barnett. Though he is basically a fellow. He is really easy to talk to and is always happy. He laughs like Howdy Doody. There is a doc or two that I really do not get along with, as well as a few nurses. We really love Molly and Lori. Patty, the one with the rally short dark hair is a bit bossy. But Alise is nice. Actually, I could go on and on with this. BUt I understand your loss of confidence. When Aizee was getting ' The Red Devil' they are supposed to get an echcardiograhm. Well, she had a dose. After that 1st dose, I looked up the info and found that out. So, when her next dose was due, I asked them about it. They tried to convince me that she had had one and I had forgotten. I fought tooth and nail over that. Finally they decided to double check and low and behold, I was right. DUH! I mean, I have been there for EVERY single thing that they did to my child. HOw would I forget about that? It was annoying and obnoxious. Oh, and this last time I had to argue about her getting septra on the same day that she got her Meth. Because there can be a serious reaction. The nurses thought I was being stupid until I insisted they call the Pharmacy. Wow, right again. Scary huh? I probably bug them to death and am now labled a trouble maker. I do not care. This is my kid and they are just going to have to put up with my constant questioning. In fact, Ihad a fight with Doc Bruggers about wanting a consoltation. Just so Rob and I could gt a handle on exactly what was going on. We have been out of hte loop and just want to know what was going on. She avoided us as long as possiable. What a mess. So, Docs like Barnett are awsome. they will go out of their way to talk to you and find out everything and anything you need to know.
I hope things smooth out for you guys. Glad he got to go trick-or-treating. Don't worry, his sweet tooth will come back eventually. I know Aizees love for chocolate did not stay gone too long! :)
Hugs and Hope, Love and Prayers to you from us!

Hi there Jeremy!
I love the new pictures! Thanks for sharing them with us. I figured as much when your mom said in Matthew's guestbook that she had frustrations at the hospital last week like we did. It is confusing when they aren't on the "same page" with what is to come next. My prayers are with you. I'm glad you got to go trick-or-treating; we are grateful for every holdiay, birthday, and every day as well even though it isn't the same as it used to be. Doing the "no fever" chant for you all! Are you all having lots of snow too? I bet you are...we've had quite a bit and we are very thankful for it. Have a great day Jeremy!!!!

WOW! Off of treatment! That is awsome. Go visit Gooches page. His link is off of Aisalynn's. His mom does somthing called Adopt a kid or somthing. For kids off of treatment. She is a funny lady as well.
That is most awsome about the counts rebounding all on their own. And that school is a positive!

YAY! That is wonderful to hear about school! It is great he has such confidence. And it is good to not have to do those shots for now. They are such a drag!
Is it really warm there as well? I mean, it is like summer here. I like it! But it is strange.
So, what are your halloween plans? My girls all want to be Blossom PowerPuff girl. Except Remy. The costume does not come in her size. So she is either going to be a bunny or a bug.
What is the wish? Aizee wished for Minnie Mouse. So, they sent us to Florida. We stayed at Give Kids The World wich was wonderful! The entire trip was. We are still having the blues about coming home! :)
Take care.

We did the ARA-C at home. Did you get all your hazmat stuff yet? When your home nurse first shows you the gloves and stuff and the proceedure, it can make you very scared. BUT, it really is not so bad. YOu will handle it like a pro!
That is great that you won't have to be in the hospital again. Yes, the fevers do happen. But, if his ANC stays over 50, then you don't have to be admitted. I bet your daughter is thrilled! This is wonderful for all of you!

You know, the first time Aizee was on that side, we hated it too. It felt really weird. But, the next time, (yes, you will end up there a lot at times!) We actually prefered it. You get a lot more freedom there. Like in ICU, you are trapped in your room, and there are not a lot of places to walk around or anything. And now that the Playroom is gone, there is NOTHING THERE. BUt, Med side, you got that neat globe fishtank, that tv room and can walk around a lot more. Plus, they are not like the ghesstappo there. YOu will get used to it. Then, later, when you are back in ICS, you will feel confined. Well, that was how it was for us anyway. There are a lot of competent nurses there to. I really liked Stephanie. And there are a couple of others that amaze me. Did you know a lot of them are like 23?????
:O
How are you enjoying the smokey skies? Dreadful isn't it?

Well, good luck. I am just an e-mail away! :)

Was it the L-Asparaginase shot?
Yes, these kids learn quickly to roll with it. When Aizee was first diagnosed, she would Scream non-stop. That firslt few weeks in the hospital she hated all of the medical staff except for one nurse. Then, our out-patient visits, she would scream. Now, it does not even bother her.
It is sad, but it becomes routine and these kids get really tough. Very mature.
I am happy you have a plan! Sticking to your goals will help you get through this. You will be okay!

Hep! Hep! Hurray! Jeremy! What wonderful news!
I will wait until Grandma-Grandma wakes up to tell her.
You are such trooper, holding together through all of the treatments.
Grandma-Grandma and I have been cleaning up after the siding was put on the house, the decking is back in place.
It has been very dry here this summer only had a drizzle of rain last week.
We haven't had the boat out all summer. It just seems as if there is so much to do.
We did do a fun thing for Kevin's birthday. He invited four of his friends from Langlois and Christina and I took them to Humbug Mountain Park for a sleep-over camping trip. They played on the beach, throwing each other over a sand cliff. The one that was thrown, would roll down the sand into a pond of water. I was amazed no one even received a scratch.
Love you.

I'm so happy the BMA was all clear today! That is wonderful! I hope all goes well for your inpatient stay and that you don't get too sick. Matthew starts his 2 weeks of radiation on Sept. 22nd. Sometimes he'll have radiation and chemo on the same days. His chemo is outpatient and he has a cough, so I don't think they would let him come upstairs with me to see you while you are in for your chemo. Fooey! But we will be thinking of you while we are there as we do often. Take care and keep smiling!

Believe me it is worth the wait. They rushed Holly's second round. It made her so sick and took another long wait for the counts to recover. The doctors rushed because it took Holly a long time to recover after induction. It took her counts two months to rebound. They were getting nervous about the time and the cancer thing. So enjoy the wait.

Hello Pam and Jeremy! Thanks for stopping by Cole's page...sounds truly like Jeremy and Cole would have plenty to talk about with all the things they seem to enjoy doing! Cole is doing very well and things will continue to get better for you, too. Please don't concentrate on "relapse", it will eat your heart away with guilt and pain....just concentrate on the fact that you have faith in the Lord and that God is healing Jeremy as we speak! The ending of protocol is hard to deal with, we are dealing with the same over the next two weeks, but you aren't alone and please always remember that! Regardless of the specialized names of these diseases, cancer is cancer and we are all brothers and sisters helping our children survive!! WE WILL WIN!! Faith in the Lord tells me so in my heart. Trust him.....God bless you all and may you have a SUPER week!!!! Hugs, Lisa and Cole Stagner

Wow, I have friends that live where you do. Small world isn't it?
Well, e-mail me if you get tired or whatever while in the hospital. I'll send you my phone number.
Aizees last hospital stay was in February. Right around Valentines day. I hope you get our favorite nurse. Heidi. She is the one with the Really short dark hair. With the little braid. And Bre is up there as well.
Amazing. I am so glad Aizee does not have to be admitted to the hospital, but I miss a lot of those nurses. They become such a big part of your life you know?
Have a safe trip here and home again. I hope the 4p.m. dinner time works out. Maybe it is her way of trying to keep the family 'normal' and together. Once you guys are through the initial months, those are the worst, things will settle down. Just hang tight. It goes really down, then it goes back up. It is literally like a Roller Coaster ride. Hang-on!

Glad to read a good update. It makes mommy's and daddy's so happy when our baby's are feeling better. I use to love those in between days because Holly was her old self. I feel for Jessie. Jessie is missing her normal life and it was taken away from her. Drew was 17 when Holly got sick. He use to get mad. I relate it to not really understanding everything that was going on. His little sister always trying to get attention. You know with being a social worker to try to give her normalcy. I'll add Jessie to my prayers. I'll be praying for Jeremy's upcoming treatments. Well I know it is no fun when your counts drop. You feel like a "bubble boy" or something. Doctors just don't want you sick and it is nice that ANC number lets you know when the time arises for extra cleanliness. I can't imagine telling me 2 older daughters they couldn't touch people. They hug everyone they see at school, they are always walking around holding hands or sharing food. To me, I am just like YUCK but to them, it is normal:) Love, Tracy

WOW! That is great! Well, I mean, cancer sucks. And that part of connecting with other people due to that is no fun. BUT, if we have to go through such rot, then it is good that there is a network of people being able to help one another.
We go to Primaries this Thurs. The 11th. Then her next l.p. i son the 9th of October. Right after our wish trip.
The Nurses and Docs are great arne't they? There are a couple that are um... different but that is how it goes.
You will make it through this. It is a rough ride, but it will all work out!
If you will let me, I wuld love to add your sons link to Aizees page. :) I'll be back again soon! Hugs and love to you from us!
Oh, and they are predicting snow on Wednsday! EEEKKK!

Jeremy and Family,

Thank you for stopping in to Zachary's page and adding to our growing list of "Reasons to give your child Chemo." We're saddened to find another family battling this monster, while at the same time heartened to find support through common experiences. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Hey Jeremy-
SOunds like you had fun at the zoo. It is great that when you are feeling well, you are out doing things and enjoying the outdoors.
Sounds like you have been very brave along the way, and stubbirn too. Believe it or not, I think that is one of the most valuable qualities a kid fighting cancer can have. I have a nephew who is 5 years past treatment for osteosarcoma, and he is stubborn right down to his baby toe. Now, my niece, Maddie, (www.caringbridge.org/mn/maddie) is finding her way to recovery from a very difficult brain tumor... she just came home and said that the doctors don't know everything and that she is going to get better...Wow are we lucky that she is so stubborn...
SO keep up the good work and when someone says you are being stubborn, file it away and remember it every step of the way towards your complete and total recovery!!!

Hi, Jeremy,
I am checking in to your web site to find out how you are. Grandmagrandma and I think of you often. I bet you will not want to see four walls again. Just think that next summer you will be at the ocean and we will go crabbing and run on the beach. Kevin asked about you and when I told him that you were in remission, he was so relieved and is looking forward to your visit.
In the Saturday and Sunday races, he placed 1st in the 50 yd freestyle, 3rd in the 50 yd butterfly, 4th in the 100 yd backstroke, and his team won the 200 yd freestyle relay. It was a fun meet.
All our positive thoughts are going out to you.

Coo Coo for Coco Puffs, that is great!!! Katia's big thing was Cheerios but basically her appetite was good all the time except through meningitus and a few of the bacterial infections she had. I pray for you that you will do well and feel well. Katia has been amazing throughout all of this and I just pray you will do as well as she as. She is just amazing and such an answer to prayer. I want you to know there is definitely brighter days (outside of that little hospital room) waiting for you:) Love, Tracy

Hi, Jeremy,
Just read your mom's up-date. You sure are a fighter.
I just arrived home from Kevin's swim meet. He placed first in the 100 yard freestyle race. It was exiting! There are 4 or 5 boys from around the state, in his age group, 9-10 year olds, who have been viving for the top placings all this year. Kevin has been placing 4th or 3rd most of the time and this is his first first. He was quite proud of himself. He will be racing against them tomorrow in the 100 yd. backstroke, 50 yd butterfly, and an other one wihich I don't remember so they will be out to beat him.
We think of you every day. Love you.

From my history of Ara-C, it just causes fevers. It is good they haven't found anything. I guess they have on antibiotics anyway. The video sounds like a great tool. Holly wouldn't talk about anything anyway. It is good to read that Jeremy does. It is better and healthier to open up and not bottle it all up inside.
