Noah's Page

Welcome to Noah's Page. Noah is a little boy full of life. His love for lighthouses is ironic as he is the light to many. Noah was diagnosed with ALL on November 13, 2001. He is now 3 1/2 going on 15. He makes us laugh and makes us cry but we thank God that he can. It has been provided to keep people updated about Noah.

Well I know it has been a while but busy times. The good news is that Noah is doing awesome. He has about 5 more months and then, god willing, we will be done. It really is a long journey. Three years three months when you think of it in terms of it being over half his life, Hannah going from 1st to forth grade, Me changing jobs twice, Scottie changing jobs, and so on. There are so many things to be thankful for even with Leukemia.
We wonder a lot though. What would Noah be like if he never had this battle. He is one of the most energetic boys you will ever meet. He has so many questions and never forgets a thing. He loves food. May I say LOVES food again. We went up to the Iowa State game today and Noah preceeded to eat several ribs, pork loin, 2 things of nochos, skittles and 2 things of pop. The funniest thing was that he convinced people around us that he needed it all. He does know how to work people.
I didn't mention the game much because it was a huge bummer. Noah loves the Cyclones and his Friend Coach Mac. He gets really sad for Mac and the team. It was cold and we should have won. Oh well in the whole sceam of things it's just a game. We will still go to a bowl game which Noah, Scottie, and I will go watch. You ask what about Hannah? Well little miss Hannah is currently in New york at a fine arts workshop. She was chosen out of thousands to attend this past summer and then was invited back. She is persueing a dream. She really wants to be on Broadway. So she will probably not attend the bowl game. By the way I didn't tell you that Noah thought it was Hannah that was bad luck for the Cyclones. I guess it was just their destiny.
Well onward and upward. Take care of yourselves and remember to enjoy life as the children do!!!!! That is the greatest thing Noah will teach us all.

Prayers for all,

Deb, Noah, Scottie AND Hannah
