Jordan Grosclaude

Welcome to Jordan's web page!! Jordan was diagnosed with JMML 4/15/01 which happened to be Easter Sunday that year. He had his first bone marrow transplant on 6/19/01. He relapsed 4/02. We proceeded with DLI on 4/22/02, which did not work, and continued with a Stem cell transplant on 6/17/02. We've harvested the donor, his baby brother for more stem cells on 7/31/03. In September 2003, 15 months post transplant, Jordan has relapsed again for the second time. We tried a drug called IL2, experimental to JMML treatment and then tried another drug called FTI. Jordan had some response to it but not enough to effect his bone marrow. On New Years day 2004 we made a trip to Houston Texas and received 5 days of a phase ll experimental chemotherapy. We are now scheduled to go into the hospital on April 13th to start Chemotherapy for his 3rd transplant on April 21. Jordan's favorite saying is, "Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming." From Finding Nemo. He's such a trooper. After his transplant he went to heaven on August 18th 2004 and he's missed beyond words can describe

THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN IN HOUSTON TEXAS IN JANUARY 2004 AFTER RECEIVING HIS FIRST CHEMOTHERAPY TREATMENT.
