Journal

Today marks the 8th anniversary of Cole's diagnosis. As I look back over the last eight years I can't believe the journey that we have taken. I realize that this time of year is the time that people reflect on what they have to be thankful for. We think about it all year long but tend to put it in to words at this time of year. We have so much to be Thankful for it just leaves me speechless. I don't know where to even start. So, Thank you to everyone who has touched our lives over the last eight years. Now to let you know what we have been up to. Cole is now 13 and in 7th grade! I'm getting the teenager attitude. Sometimes I even have to remind myself that I prayed for this normal attitude. We finally made it to Disney World for Cole's Make-A-Wish trip. Third try was a charm. We went with some wonderful families and Kurt Warner and his family are so wonderful. We can't thank them enough for the wonderful experience and taking part of their family time to spend with us. Cole got his first deer this fall and the boys hunting dog got his first bird with the boys. Which means I need to learn how to fix deer and pheasant. Cole is also playing 7th grade basketball this year. I can't believe the doctor said OK to this. I think he wanted to see how fast my hair could turn gray. Well that is all I really know for now. As always Thank you for all your support over the last years this journey would have been so much harder without you.
Thank you and God Bless,
Kevin, Amber and boys
