Friday , June 26, 2009 3:20 PM CDT Lesley and me have just picked Oma up from the hospital, the procedure was a success this time and they got the stones out. They also took the stent out. She will attend the clinic in about 6 weeks where they will discuss the removal of her gall bladder. She is looking great. My brother Tommy has sold his house in York, England is is moving back to the Glasgow area, he will live with our mammy until they get their house sorted out. One of their daughters and her family are in Australia and the other is in the South of England, so they have no one really down there anymore. I'm really pleased that they'll see a lot more of Oma now. Kenny, Trudi, the boys and me are off shortly to Sherwood forest where we will spend a week in a cabin, then the following week we move a bit further south when we meet up with Lesley, Craig and the kids for a week in a big house. Should be a lot of fun. Thanks for all your prayers for Oma and for Miffy and her friends, especially Christine next door who has started her chemo.

Lesley phoned when she got home from work today, Katie (Kayla's rabbit) was dead, Kayla was at granny Sheila's. Kenny had to go down because neither Lesley or Craig could lift her out of the hutch. Kenny and Craig took her down to the Clyde and buried her under a tree. We were all going to Trudi's house tonight to celebrate Callum's birthday because we won't all be together on Saturday when it's his official birthday. Kenny and me collected Oma, we were there about half an hour when Lesley arrived with the kids, Kayla came running in to me saying "Katie has died", she was crying, I took her into the living room and cuddled her, we spoke about Katie, she told me that her mammy is going to take her down to the Clyde tomorrow to put flowers on Katie's grave. I asked her if she would like to go up and tell Flurry (the hamster)about Katie, which she did. She also told me to tell Dazzle and Oma to tell Bic. I told her that she will feel sad for a while because she loved Katie and that it's OK to feel that way. Then I suggested that the kids put on a show, Callum went upstairs to play his organ, he is quite good at picking up tunes, the other three sang a song together, then Callum got a bit fed up because he wanted to sing too and Ruari told him he couldn't, that's why he's got a sad face in the photo's. We all had some food and left just before 9pm. I'm taking Oma to the hospital in the morning, please paray that everything will go well and she'll get home Friday.
