Welcome to Sara's web page. It has been provided to keep people updated on her condition (Systemic Lupus Erythematoses). Please sign the guestbook to let her know you've visited the page.
Me & my dahling ladies - Aunt Betty, me, and the Cuteness Otherwise Known as Granny Lou. Aren't they adorable?
Please visit my Caring Bridge friends & drop them a note!
I've said a temporary goodbye to my links as per Caring Bridge orders, but do not fear, it'll be back. In the meantime, email me for my link list of dahling friends.

Message from Merri:
Well, let's see here, now that Caring Bridge has totally *LOST* the page I just spent 30 minutes on! *AAAAaaaaarrrrrrrgggggggghhhhh!!!!!*
This is supposed to be just a note to let you all know that we are still in the land of the living, although, at times, we thought we were in the Land of the Lost! (Brain fibro fog!) I have temporarily re-possessed Sara's page today to tell you, her friends, thank you *soooooo* very much for staying in touch, for your posts, and kind words of concern and encouragement for her.
*AND* to let you know that today Sara is celebrating her *birthday*! So, *Happy Birthday* to our girl! And just to keep things interesting, I thought I'd list some of the favorite things we love about her, so here goes:
1) the way she writes - we're either laughing or crying, sometimes all at the same time
2) the way she loves and cares for her sisters, even after sharing the same bedroom with them - in Bekah's case, for 13.5 years, and, in Faith's instance, 8 years.
THREE girls in the same room! <:-0
3) the way they cackle and giggle to all hours of the night, even after being told "GOOD NIGHT" several times!
4) the way she makes her cat, KC, talk - really, you *have* to hear it to believe it!
5) the love and concern she shows in so many ways for her grandmother, "the Cuteness" and her great-aunt, known collectively as her "Dahling Ladies"
6) the way she has grown and matured throughout this journey known as "living with lupus and fibromyalgia"
7) the way she refuses to give up or give in to either disease
8) for taking Faith to her piano lessons, and picking up Faith's friend, Amanda, on the way, listening to them talk, talk, talk, and giggle all the way, even on days that she's really, really in pain - keep in mind that most days, Sara's in pain anyway. I'm talking about the days that, if you were in this kind of pain, you'd want to be knocked out.
9) for sharing the Common Reader catalog with me, and, in several instances, letting me see it *first*! :-)
10) her passion for our country and her zeal for the political process to see things improved
11) her love and concern for her friends, even to the point of confronting them when she sees them headed the wrong direction
12) her love for her CB friends
13) her concern for her brother, Timothy, when she sees him being slighted or ignored by those who should know better
14) the way she can read my mind sometimes, and, seeing how tired I am, steps in and fixes dinner or Dad's lunch without me asking.
Well, I could go on and on and on, but this is probably enough to embarrass her completely. :-)
Happy, Happy Birthday to our "princess" -
Sara Bethany Williams!!!
We were truly blessed on the day you were born and we are deeply privileged to be your parents. It has been and still is our prayer that He will heal your body. But even if that doesn't happen in this world, you have glorified His Name and shown through your walk that you are His child.
We love you,
Mom and Dad
