I keep it updated so that my friends and my family will know what is happening in my life after being diagnosed with "pre-B" Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on March 21, 2003.
It was just a few weeks after my 4th Birthday!
I am now off all Chemotherapy!

Once upon a time, in a place that is no more,
I lived without Cancer, before I turned four.
Now I am six and almost to seven.
I talk about dying and going to Heaven.
Lots of times it’s hard and I can’t keep things straight.
My mom says it’s the chemo and all the medicine I ate.
I worry too much and wake up at night screaming.
Mostly I’m crying because I think my mom’s leaving.
The worst thing is that I don’t know what I did.
How come I got Cancer when I’m just a little kid?
How come?

Back when I was on chemo, it was the greatest thing to ever happen to me. That is something that I will, not ever, forget in my whole wide world life!
For all the Sweetie Cancer Kids that are going to CAMP SUNSHINE next week, don't forget that the bus will leave for camp at 1:00pm this coming Sunday, June 22nd. Please meet at the Camp Sunshine House between 12:15pm and 12:45pm for check-in with the nurses and to get luggage tags! Remember, lunch will not be provided at camp on Sunday, so be sure to eat before you get on the bus! We will be back on Saturday, June 28th at 9:00am!
