Hey there!

I am out and about on CB guest book rounds and thought I'd stop by and see how you are doing. Did you have a great birthday? I'm just about 100% sure you did! Did it snow on your birthday? Silly me! It's SPRINGTIME! ;o)

Well, Spring is on her way here to the Heart of North America. The snow is melting off; lots of mud puddles; bright green spring grass is starting to sprout; and the once snow covered fields are turning a deep chocolate brown. I don't see any buds on the tree or lilac bushes around the farmstead but I'm sure they will show up very soon.

Did I forget to mention the lines of geese flying into the area? Oh yes, it is time for them to start migrating back to make nests and settle in for spring and summer. We have several new varities of little birds at the bird feeders in our yards, too.

I'd better let you go, sweetie pie I just love Spring--can you tell? ;o) I am sending you and your family oodles of hugs, praises and prayers.

Her name is Victoria Hanson she is a teacher in one of our schools, she actually taught both of my boys in 1st grade last year and a couple of years before that. I have checked on Kylie so often but don't think I've ever posted before. First let me say that she is darling, darling, darling!!! And she looks as healthy as can be!! I will keep her and you all in my prayers as I always do and truly believe her body is completely and wonderfully healed. My son was treated with a strong chemo protocol at age 7 for rhabdomyosarcoma and I often worried about the effects of treatment. But he is 20 years old now and no one would ever know he had ever been sick. He is strong, healthy, and handsome as ever. Hi Raquel, I am not sure if you even remember me but we met when our daughters were both at Scottish Rite and again at Egleston. I was drawn to check on Kylie after learning that a friends 3 year old son was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. They are also at Egleston and my heart just breaks for them remembering how hard it was to accept the cancer diagnosis. It is so hard to believe it has been almost 4 years since our sweet Macy went home but it is great to have stories like Kylies to offer encouragement to others. I am so happy for all of you and celebrate Kylies beautiful achievments with you! She really is an Angel!

Dearest Lisa and family, Praying for all of you especially dear John. Just came home from hospital yesterday. Just my low sodium blood coount again causes me some problems but not bad at all. I started some short chemo again today out-patient for just 5 days and then again in 3 weeks for 5 days. Then the scan to check on the lungs. Hopefully it will keep it in check. I have been following your site for years and am so glad that things continue to go well for your precious daughter. I just wanted you to know that I have 2 daughters who are, 1 a bit older and 1 a bit younger than Kylie. My oldest daughter just turned 7 and has had trouble with night terrors for years. One thing that our Dr. shared with us to try was to wake her about an hour before the normal terror should start. It worked for us. By waking them you get them out of that pattern of sleep and hopefully they can finish the night without a terror. We don't catch every one, but it has helped. I know evey child is different, but just thought I would share.

Thanks for asking for prayers for Caroline with her scans today. Prayers worked because they came back clear and even the spots that were there during the last two scans have disappeared. Prayer does work. We are scheduled to make our first visit to the survivor clinic for our next visit in 6 months (along with the regular scans). It is time to begin the next phase. Wow! You are such a strong, Godly influence... I know that you and Drew have been through something every parent wishes to never see... It looks as if you have managed to bring the positive out of something so completely horrible. From one mom to another... you rock!

I am so proud that Kiley is healthy and that her checkups have been good!

Don't know if you remember our cousin, Lisa, in VA. Her youngest son, Thomas, has ALL... Luekemia, he is in the final 13 weeks of a 3 year treatment plan at St. Jude. His caring bridge site is a new one... thomasmusser.

Also, mine and David's dad was diagnosed with ALS/Lou Gehrigs disease a year and a half ago. He also has a new site... donthomas.

You look beautiful, and have a beautiful family! I am so proud for you!

Robby and I have two children...Spenser (you were there when she was born!) is now 14 (captain of her cheerleading squad and also plays basketball-all while being very active in church youth group)... and we also have a 6 year son, Sutton (he is a hoot and looks SOOOOO much like Dave!).

Our family has always loved you, and we will take up your fight in our prayers! How awesome that you have a husband leading a bible study! My mom and dad say hello, and to let you know that they are proud of you! You have accomplished so much!
