Hello everyone! I heard about this website from a wonderful woman I met at a cancer support program. As most of you already know, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma on January 23, 2004. It was a week before my 25th birthday! I think this website is a wonderful way for me to keep my family and friends updated with my treatments and progress. I hope you enjoy!
Journal
Tuesday, December 16, 2008 As this Christmas season is upon us, I can hardly believe how far Gil and I have come in the four years since I began this webpage. We have seen God's hand in miraculous ways and are so grateful for every day He has blessed me with. We are all doing well. Bella is almost two which is really hard to believe. I also cannot believe I'm coming up on the five year anniversary of being diagnosed. Wow! God willing I will celebrate my five-year remission mark at the end of July and be "cured" in cancer terms. I hope to have a celebration of life with my family and friends. The last conversation I had with my brother-in-law before he passed away in 2005 was that we would have a huge party for my five year date. If nothing else, I want to do it for him! I hope you all have a very, Merry Christmas. Count your blessings and remember that every day is a gift, so don't let it slip by without enjoying every moment.
God Bless, Kristi
