The passage today is a little different. But the way I look at it, life itself is a battle and the Lord doesn't change. He was with the Israelites as they headed into the Promised Land, and He's with you, helping you and giving you strength to face whatever lies ahead. Always here praying!

Hi Caroline & Family, I am so glad you are doing so well. My name is Linda Kemper. My grandson, Brice King was diagnosed in 7-07 with Stage 4 NB. He went through normal protocol and in February we went to MSKCc In NYC to do the 3f8 Antibody, it fights the hidden cells the machines cannot detest. We will go back in August to do the 5th round. Glad to read the good news. Mary Evelyn was complaining of pains right where her tumor used to be a few days before her clear scan. Sometimes I think she gets a tummy ache, gets scared and then it hurts more.

Am sharing two verses today. The second verse is God's own interpretation of the first verse. When dealing with all the "floods" and vehement winds beating upon us, there is only One Sure Foundation. Praying so as you face these "floods."
Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

These verses were part of my husband's sermon text today. This is a really good passage and speaks a lot to us all as we face a new year. Praying!
Lamentations 3:21-26 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
