Caroline is a fourteen-year old girl who was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma (High Risk) in July 2004. She has undergone 5 rounds of chemotherapy, tumor resection surgery, and two stem-cell transplants. She had fourteen days of radiation therapy and then 6 months of Accutane (orally).

Well it has been 3 years since we last posted. Caroline is now 14 years old and is in the 8th grade. She has been doing well with no signs of cancer anymore. She is dealing with the after effects of her cancer therapy. She is very underweight, weighing 68 pounds and is below the bottom 5n her BMI for her age group. She is on hormone therapy for estrogen. Other than that, she is a straight A student who loves to play the oboe. We hope that everyone is doing well.

I, her dad, had a heart attack last year, but I am doing well now. Her sister, Katherine, is now a freshman at the University of West Georgia, and Nancy is doing great and is enjoying teaching 3 year olds.
