Sweet Caroline
10 Year Old Caroline on her cell phone.
Welcome to Caroline Johnson's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about Caroline.
Caroline is a ten-year old girl who was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma (High Risk) in July 2004. She has undergone 5 rounds of chemotherapy, tumor resection surgery, and two stem-cell transplants. She had fourteen days of radiation therapy and then 6 months of Accutane (orally).

Friday, June 12, 2009 10:50 PM CDT Just a note to let you know that we are a little concerned about Caroline. She has been complaining about having trouble breathing in the evenings. She says that she is having to take extra breaths and that it hurts to breathe in deep. We went to see her pediatrician on Thursday afternoon and he ran some blood tests and these came back ok, or at least that is what the nurse said this morning. He said that her breathing sounded ok yesterday. We also have noticed her getting a lot of bruises, but of course, she is an active 10 year old. I guess that anytime your child complains of not feeling good and says she has trouble breathing you worry and then if your child has had cancer, you worry a little bit more. Please pray that we figure out what is going on. I may call Dr. George next week. We are supposed to go see him next month and have her 6 month round of scans. Just pray for her.
