Annette's World! 
Welcome to Annette's world.
Annette has been having signs of seizures and
horrible headaches. She's been to the Doctor and just waiting for results if its epilespy or a brain tumor. As of May 12, 2005 Annette was diagnosed with Elpilesy and now learning about what elpilesy is and how to live with it!
A Book that I have heard alot about and is worth reading. Its called Managing Cancer by Patricia Walter.
Most bookstores have it. It is very good and has alot of information
 On April 4th, 2006 Annette was DX with Bi-polar and may have some ADHD issues. She has a wonderful Dr. Dr G. is one that will help the parent fight for the childs rights.
Thank You Lord for Dr G. On June 25, 2007 Annette was also dx with ADD. We knew about this for a little over a year and had to wait until her seizures and bi-polar seizures where leveled. Dr G, is treating her for both. Dr G. has been a Godsend for us.

I know I have not updated in a very long time. Annette has been doing alot better and is in High School and loving it. She really likes all her Teachers and has gotten into some afterschool activities.
She has started the program at School to become a nurse and and can work after 10 grade as a CNA. She wants to become a RN. She said that we are here to help others and being a nurse is her calling. we are behind her 100 !
She went to Dr Reddy last week and she told us that she didn't know why they tagged Annette with Bi-polar. Then she called dr Baker and talked to him and they both think its her seizures and that some that happen do not show up and have different side effects. They have taken her off the meds for bi-polar. she is doing good. That made her praise God that she is not having to take some of her meds. She is still seeing Dr Branndon for her counsling. All in all she is doing alot better.
She had a wonderful summer and did things she has never done before.
She went the Church on a Mission Trip to Ducktown, Tn in June and then on July 24-28, they went to Lookout Mountain for a Youth Camp. She came home and had to tell us everything she learned and about Jeff Jonhson Band.
This was a wonder experience for her and her brother.
we are going to Church and we ar ehaving Family Bible time and study time together. Then each night we have prayer time and we are much closer then we have been in years. I am proud of the person she is turning into. I give God all the Praise, Thanks and Glory to Him.

Proud to be Annette's Mom
OK for the ones who don't know this Annette has been getting psychological help for about 2 years because of bi-polar and ADD. Annette also has seizures. When I said that she went to see Dr. B. He is her psycologist. Please know that she is getting the right help and I do know what this can do and how far some will go to make the pain go away. She is seeing her Dr once a week and then we go to 2 support
meetings a week. Please no one think that this is something that I am not truly taking seriously cause it is. We are trying to get a support group started here in the small town we live in. The closest one two us is an hour and ten minutes away. Its a 2 hour and 20 minute drive. We only have support groups here for cancer, abuse and for rape victims. Thank You all for the concern please understand that the health and well being of my children comes first.
Kayla is doing good and no problems as I am typing this. She is drinking alot and has asked for a milkshake. Thank you to all that keep them in your prayers. God Bless... For with out Him we our nothing. Glad to be His.
Prayers and Hugs,For those of you that think that God is not worth anything, YOU ARE VERY WRONG!!!!!! I have witnessed His miracles and His power. I never claimed that Annette was not at fault. But if you are going to say things that may hurt her like you God is nothing your are wrong!!! We have the right to live a Christian Life!!!

Kayla did great with her surgery. She is home and having some pain. Times she can talk and not talk. She said that she can hear alot better. But she still at times signs when she wants somwthing. Her Dr is a wonderful Christian and prayer with her before surgery. Thank You Lord for Dr S.
Just thought I would do a quick update. Sorry very tired been up since 4:00am.

Sorry for not updating before now. There have been somethings going on that I really didn't know how to write about. I have been praying and asking God to give me the right direction/path I needed to be on. My answer was in my heart and God showed me what needed to be done.
This is something that I thought would never happen to my child. Cause she knows better than that and she knows that Life is only here because Jesus loved us that much. Boy was I wrong at how much the devil will try to hurt us.
About 1 month and 2 weeks ago, Annette started drawing on her arms. I didn't think much of it and that is was a thing the kids at school were doing. But when I noticed her arms where she had drawed, there were marks on her arms from where she had started cutting. Yes, she was cutting herself with a pen. When we asked her about it and she admitted it and asked for help cause she didn't want to do this. I asked her how this happen. Her respond was this: One I am not popular at School and really have no friends and a group of kids that are EMO invited her to join them. Had her convinced that they were going down the right road to a good life. She said that they told her that she could take away the pain of not fitting in by cutting herself. She said that it hurt to much cutting herself with teh pen and couldn't go with anything sharper, like glass or a razor. I called her Dr and he said have her in my office first thing in the morning. He also said that she might be admitted to the hospital. Thank You Lord that she wasn't but is working with the Dr and talking about why and why not you should do this. She is back in Church and getting involved with the youth and enjoying life again. There were alot of ones there that had walked away from her because of the kids she was starting to hang with cause one of the girls started a bunch of junk. When they found out what she had been though and what she was doing they made a pact to be there for each other and they would make sure that this would not happen again to her and that this time the devil would not get his way. Annette is happier now than I have seen her in a very long time. She is doing better and each day is a new start for her.
These kids that are in to this EMO can make things look so cool to kids that are looking for a place to fit in and be a part of. Annette fell into there trap. I Praise and Thank God each and everyday that she didn't get to far gone with this group. Thank You Lord for putting Annette back on the road to Your will for her life.
Annette did pass the 8th grade and will start High School next year. She is all excited about that. She passed our state test call the CRCT. She ended the with with A's and B's for the year. Congrats Annette on a job well done.
I had talked about her little sister Kayla before that she was having problems hearing. Tomorrow she will have surgery to remove her tonsils, adnoids, and reconstruct both of her ears. The ear surgery will help her hearing. Please keep Annette and Kayla in prayers and thoughts.
