Foot Prints

Zackery, I'm
Searching for your foot prints
I look to find a way.

To find a glimps of you in
every part of my day.

The pain isn't going away
I fear it's here to stay.
If it were I wouldn't be
looking for signs in this way.

I think of ways to reach you ,
I shout out everyday
for you to give me a sign,
to take away my pain.

Some people might not know
just what I'm looking for
but I'm looking for my little boy
His prints I see no more.

On bended knee I look for him
Sifting through the sand
wanting with my heart and soul
to hold you once again.

Please help me look for Zack
through foot prints in the
sand.

Just a little sign
until we meet again.
