If tears could build a stairway,
And memories were a lane,
We would walk right up to heaven
To bring you home again.
Our heart's still ache with sadness,
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,
no one will ever know.

Dear Kathy and family:
My heart and soul are with you today and tomorrow as you celebrate Larry's life. Am including below the words I read at Mom's memorial service. You may remember them as you were both there for me during that difficult time. (one of many).

How Did you Spend Your Dash?

I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From beginning...to the end.
He noted that first came her date of birth
And spoke the following date with tears.
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth.
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not how much we own;
The car...the house...the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard...
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real
And always try to undersand
The way other peope feel
And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile...
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a while.
So when you eulogy's being read
With your life's actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent your dash?

The thoughts and prayers expressed so beautifully on this web site are truly testimony to Larry's "dash". We will miss him terribly, but are so blessed to have shared his life. My love and support are always there for you, my friend. God give you strength as you celebrate Larry's life.

Love, Celeste and John

Dear Kathy and family

You never know what to say at a time like this. When I started at Lee County E.M.S. in 1982 Dr. Carley was such an inspiration to me. He Was and Still is my hero. He did wonderful things for the orginization that made it what it is today. We will ALL miss him very, very much. I hope you find comfort in knowing what a wonderful man he was and how much everyone loved and respected him. I know he is in a great place now and how happy he is to be in heaven. We must remember this as we grieve the loss of Dr. Carley.

I worked with Larry when were both on the Emergency Medicine staff at MCP. He was a good man and a good doctor, very energetic, and always trying hard to 'do the right thing'. He was a pleasure to work with and be around, and we were all sad when he left. I am even sadder to read of his death. My best wishes to his family and friends. Larry was one of the best and nicest people I have known.

Kathy and family,
Wanting you to know that our love and prayers are with you in this time of grief. I sat today and thought how brighter and richer heaven is becoming as one-by-one our dear ones have transfered from earth to heaven. Grandma and Grandpa Embry, Dad, Aunt Kay, Katherine Ann, Uncle Bob and Aunt Donna, and Virgil. Who knows which one of them stepped up to welcome Larry but I know that Jesus did. May we all be prepared for the day when our life ends on earth and begins for eternity. God will give you the strength to make it day-by-day, "I don't know who holds tomorrow but I know who holds my hand."

I am Diane Cirafesi's mother. My husband, Joe, and I are extremely upset by Larry's (Sonny's) death. We just saw Kathy and Sonny at Diane & Steve's baby's Christening. Sonny was a great influence in Steve's life, and he will be missed terribly. Sonny always encouraged Steve to get a good education, and I think he is the main reason Steve has a college degree. He never wanted to let his Uncle Sonny down, and Sonny was very proud of him. Even when Sonny's illness was progressing, he still wanted to be an active role model to Steve & Diane and their 3 children. He will be missed beyond words, but his influence and love of family will live on. Kathy, you will always be in our prayers and our hearts.

Dearest Sister Kathy In Christ

We are so sorry to hear about the sad demise of dear brother in Christ Larry. We are so saddened for this news. Heart breaks when the loved one’s disappear. No human person ever can give a comfort that would satisfy you. This is the time you turn to Jesus with above can give everything you lost. Tears may roll but they are for sometimes only. His comfort will add strength joy, peace and courage to go ahead all the way. Dear Sister, we are at your side silent though, sharing your grief to the full. And praying in solidarity for you to Jesus, Who knows your pains and sorrow.

At the parting with a loved one several questions come to our mind that demand answers. Job 14:14, “If a man die, shall he live again? Job answers his own question in Job 19:26, “And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God.”

The death of the righteous is precious to the Father. Life was a movement of time to prepare for eternity. Life is saddened by the fact that it must end sooner or later in death unless Jesus returns to rapture the church. Our entire faith rests or falls with the resurrection. Because Jesus rose from the death, every man, woman, and child shall rise from the dead. With same faith one day we will meet dear brother Larry at Heaven. You please remember one thing dear sister Kathy, our dear brother Larry is so happy at Heaven. So, you need not cry. You are in our continuous prayers dear sister. God is always with you. With love and prayers,

I was a Hospital Administrator at Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital from 1990 to 2001 and had the privledge of working with Larry early in my career. I remember my first meeting with him and how energetic and bright he was. In addition to being a brillant physician, he truly understood how to combine the compassion AND business of healthcare. He was a blessing to me. I will pray for God's blessing for your family and trust that His grace will bring you peace. Many prayers are headed your way.

Kathy and family,
I worked as a tech at Lee Memorial ER when Dr. Carley was there in the early 80's. He, in a large part, was instrumental in my desire to become a paramedic. My words are weak and ill formed so I'll borrow a few from Tennyson:

"Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,--
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

I remember him fondly and grieve at his passing. My thoughts go out to you.

Kathy, To say I'm sorry for your loss just dose'nt seem to be enough, but there really is nothing to say that will help ease your pain, otherthan to say we love you and where here for you. Sometimes it will probley seem as if your faith isnt enough to get get you through....but it will just keep believing in the one thing that will never go away Jesus's love for you and Larry. Just keep believing even when you want to give up because your tired or sad. Larry and you will be in my and Natalies prayers. Kathy: My sadness for you during this time is great.....for I knew the love you and Larry shared. That is one reason why I loved Larry from the very beginning....he talked about you all the time and how thankful he was for you in his life and how he wanted to be all that you needed. Your "oneness" was real and scriptural. When Larry told me he was leaving MCP, as sad as I was for him to go, I was so proud of him and the decision he had made for both you and he to go back to Florida. Family was always so important to both of you and when you gave it the priority over other things in your life, you gave a great witness to those around you. When Larry called to tell me of his diagnosis, the first thing he said was: "I'm so glad we came back.....God took care of us because He knew what we would need." I rejoice now for Larry, as I know because I know because I know where he is. And I know you know, too. What a joy and comfort to know. For you who now feels the pain of separation, my prayers and thoughts are with you. I pray that your friends will hold you and laugh with you and cry with you and pray with you. I pray they will know when to hold you close and when to give you space. I thank God for your children......treasures to both you and Larry. I know they are exceptional people....and I am so glad they are gifts in your life. May our Lord who sees every tear and hears every prayer, wrap you in His loving arms and rock you in the peace that only He can give. I love you. And for those of you who may be reading this, if you are blessed to be able to be with Kathy in person, please give her an extra long hug from me....and the MCP family who love the Carleys.
Love, Becky and Gene

We are so saddened by the news of Larry's passing. At the same time, however, we are uplifted by the knowledge that he is at peace with God. Your faith, belief and trust in God has truly been inspirational not only during this crisis, but in all you do. That faith and love will buoy you up during difficult times to come and will shine like a beacon to lead you forward. You are never alone...we love you lots, lots, lots and are here for you. It was a very special day (who knew how special) when I heard of this new guy who would be taking the much avoided position of Medical Director in the ER at MCP. You both have made an incredible difference in my life. I'm proud to call you friends.

Much love....

Good morning Kathy! I give God thanks that I was able to visit with you, Larry and others for a brief time yesterday.
I hope Larry had a better night. As always, Margie and I are earnestly holding Larry up in prayer to our Mighty God. I pray His perfect Will be done. If possible, I will stop by later to visit. In closing, God said through Isaiah, "You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord is everlasting strength.(Is 26:3-4) It is my prayer that you and your family will have the "perfect peace" our Lord offers to all whose mind is stayed on Him. I just received the news via e-mail as I am a bit out of the loop now that I am at Temple. Larry is truly one of the most sincere, dedicated and downright nice physicians that I have known. His contributions to the residency at MCP when I was program director included an outstanding "real world" view of our specialty that I and the residents learned much from. I remember he was so worked up about doing an excellent job when he arrived that he lost a lot of weight! Needless to say he had no reason to worry so much as he had the right stuff. Best wishes for a smooth recovery, I hope to see you soon at a meeting.

So glad you are able to share these messages with Larry. What an improvement that is over just a couple of weeks ago! Kathy you said in your message today that the "road is long and tiring"......I say that is great news! A short and easy road would not produce much improvement! I understand the physical drain this has to be on both of you and I certainly don't mean to make light of that. Sometimes it is hard to find the silver lining and I guess that is my message to you today. Take care of yourself, get all the rest you possibly can and you will be stronger for Larry. Early on in your relationship Larry thought he wanted to travel the world and embarked on the "high seas" without you........as I recall he returned quickly! The love you guys shared brought him to the place he truly wanted to be, which was with you. That same love will bring him back home to you again! Take all of our love with you and share it with him. Our prayers continue for your both! We love you!

Mom and Larry, what wonderful and amazing people you have praying for Larry and our family. My heart is filled each day when I read these inspiring words. You are truly blessed. I have to say a quick Thank You to All of you. May God bless you and your families.
When I wake and feel discouraged this message reassures me of Gods love and devotion to us all.

My Hand in God's
Each morning when I wake I say,
"I place my hand in God's today",
I know He'll walk close by my side
My every wandering step to guide.

He leads me with the tenderest care
When paths are dark and I despair.
No need for me to understand
If I but hold fast to His hand.

My hand in His no surer way
To walk in safety through each day.
By His great bounty I am fed;
Warmed by His love and comforted.

When at days end I seek my rest
And realize how much I'm blessed,
My thanks pour out to Him and then
I place my hand in God's again.

Thank you to Naomi Goss for passing this along to me :)

I love you both,
Carla

Hi Kathy and Larry: We are so glad to hear that you will be traveling back to Fort Myers today. An answer to many, many prayers and a major step among the baby steps. In a frame on my desk is a saying sent to me from my father over 30 years ago. It's clipped from a newspaper and bears Dad's famous smiley faces hand sketched in ink at the beginning and end of the message. I offer you these words that have helped me so often:
"When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And when you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit---
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out---
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar:
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,---
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit."

You have come a long way in 2 weeks. Not long ago you were planning to be in Orlando for 2 months! With so much love and so many prayers coming your way, may you continue to find strength to take all the baby steps necessary to "capture the victor's cup". God will lift you up on eagle's wings as you travel home....

Love to you both. Celeste and John

Good morning Kathy and Larry! I give God thanks for the news that you "both" are returning to Ft. Myers today. I am encouraged by the daily progress Larry is making. It's slow but sure. I noticed that Pastor John from India sent you a message the other day. I'm sorry for the mix up in the titles he gave you. For sure Kathy you are a sister in the Lord and Larry a brother. Many of our names are foreign to Pastor John and he is unable to determine which gender belongs to a name. I look forward to seeing you in a day or so. Please pass on my greetings to Larry.
God bless!

From Arizona to Florida, all the way up to Pennsylvania and around the world to India people are lifting you both up in prayer. I bet you had no idea how many people the two of you have touched! This guestbook is an amazing thing! God is performing miracles not only for the two of you, but all throughout the world as people come together in prayer, some who pray daily and others who have just started praying daily. Don't you know how pleased God is and surely He will hear our prayers and use Larry as a vehicle to show His greatness. I understand how serious Larry's condition still is and that is why all these wonderful people continue to pray, but God is answering prayer (we just want His timetable to be the same as ours!) When I talked with you on Saturday you told me that you didn't know how long the recovery road was going to be or were it would stop but that the two of you were going to travel it together. What more could any person ask for then to have someone love them that much! God knows where this road is going and what miracles lie ahead.......we have to wait and watch God's plan unfold a little at a time, but each "baby step" is a peek at what the future holds. Stay in touch when you can and remember that we love you!

Dear loving brother Kathy and Sister Larry in Christ,

Greetings in the healing name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is from Pastor John Prabhakar from India.

Our heart tremors to know of your sickly condition through brother David G. Kainrad. But we are all on our knees and tears in the sight of God. Dear sister, don’t be disheartened at this little test of faith. If you believe you will see the wonder of God working in you for a surprising miracle. Keep on saying “By His wounds I am healed” and as well and if possible read Romans 8:11 which says the Spirit which raised up Jesus from His dead body, will also is able to revive your body subject to sickness presently. All of us are on your side. About 800 school children, 25 staff members, church members are all deeply committed to pray for you so be of good cheer and courage. May God will not forsake you. You have a definite miracle soon.

Hi Aunt Kathy, As you said, Uncle Sonny is taking "baby steps" to recovery, and with encouragement and lots of prayers, I believe it will be a full recovery in due time. You are a lot of the medicine he needs right now, so keep reading and singing to him, and give him a big, but gentle, hug from us, and always remember that God never gives us anything we cannot handle. You are one of the most optimistic people I know, and that gift will take you through this journey too. Love, Donna

HI KATHY:
I HOPE YOU ARE GETTING THE REST THAT YOU NEED. I THINK OF YOU OFTEN BECAUSE BEING A CARETAKER CAN REALLY TAKE A LOT OF STRENGTH. I KNOW YOU WILL DO JUST FINE BECAUSE OF THE LOVE YOU HAVE FOR EACH OTHER. IT IS VERY HARD BECAUSE ONLY YOU KNOW HOW TRULY TOUGH THIS CAN BE. I WANT YOU TO KNOW WHILE I AM GONE IF I CAN'T GET INTO A COMPUTER I WILL ALWAYS STAY IN TOUCH WITH ZOKI. WHEN YOU DO GET HOME IF I CAN HELP YOU IN ANY WAY YOU KNOW I WOULD BE THERE FOR YOU. SOMETIMES I JUST NEEDED SOMEONE TO COME OVER AND TALK LONG ENOUGH FOR ME TO TAKE A SHOWER. I REALLY DO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE TWO OF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH. DOES LARRY UNDERSTAND HIS CONDITION? IF SO THAT HAS TO BE VERY HARD ON HIM KNOWING THE CARE HE WILL NEED.
I JUST HOPE AND PRAY HE WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE EVEN IF IT SEEMS SMALL. IT IS THE LITTLE IMPROVMENT'S THAT WILL MAKE THE BIG DIFFERENCE.
WELL, KATHY I WILL DROP A LINE TOMORROW. I LOOK FORWARD TO CHECKING THIS SITE EVERYDAY.

Dearest Kathy, Larry and family. Please know that your family is in our prayers..I am adding you all to our prayer chain. I have such fond memories of spending time playing Bunco with Kathy and it about broke my heart when I heard about Larry. But..God is GOOD and He will do what He needs to do in His own timing. We need to pray and wait..and pray and wait..and let HIM do His thing!!

I want to share my favorite verse with you all and hope it brings you the comfort and peace it brings me...

Matthew 21:22 "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. "

I also lean on this one too...

Psalm 84:5,7 "Blessed are those whose strength is in you....they go from strength to strength."

And at times like these I can't help but add this one...
1 Peter 3:15 " Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have."

I know where your hope lies...Share that hope..Share God's word..Share His wonders and His awesome love. This a time of sorrow of sorts but also a time to give the glory to the Lord! I can see by this guestbook that you have touched so many lives..and by God putting you in one place for a short time He is going to use you to touch even more! The book of Romans says..."Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." By your example so many ppl will see the wonders of the Lord..Prasies be to HIM!!

Love and prayers and all of God's Blessings

Kathy and Larry: How do you thank an awesome God when He does the impossible and does it right in front of our faces? How He loves us. I am so grateful for your sharing Larry's progress with us...what a witness and testimony of faith and love. I thought of you a lot Friday night, Kathy. We went to see Paul Wilbur at Beth Yashua and there was a woman a few rows in front of us that reminded me of you. The thought was so consistent that I found mayself praying for you thoughtout the night......... Thank you Jesus for hands that move and ng tubes that can be pulled out by a hand and arm that had laid dormant. Thank you for the small things that are really BIG things. Thank you for Larry and Kathy. We love you lots.

Good morning dear friends. Think of the awesome number of prayers that have been said for you both in the last 2 weeks! How powerful and what better way to show the love your friends and family have for you. Does Larry enjoy taped books or music? Maybe he could listen to those when no one is visiting. It does help distract and pass time to make those times less lonely. I check the website several times a day for your updates. Love you both and are here for you if there is anything we can do. Give Larry a hug for me..

Steph, Chris and Jess continue to ask every time they see me with the website opened how Uncle Sonny is doing and were happy to hear all the great news today. Some Get Well Soon cards will be in the mail shortly. They have been working on them all day. We think of you all the time and continue to send our prayers and love your way. Hang in there. Hello Kathy and Larry! Please know that besides mine and Margie's prayers, there are over 800 people in Rajamundry, India praying for Larry's complete recovery. Daily, Pastor John inquires of Larry's well being. God says in Isaiah 41:10 & 13 "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strenghten you. Yes, I will help you with My righteous right hand. For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, Fear not, I will help you." Good Evening dear friends:
I was remembering Larry's first days in the ER at MCP today as I took a stroll down there. Especially recall his joy at being "pinned" with the MCP ER Team pin. What a wonderful team member, leader and friend he was in his role of director - once he stopped losing weight during the first few weeks! Also remember him holding court with the residents during morning rounds. They knew they were in the presence of someone very special. How wonderful that you both came into our lives. Becky, Cathy and I were also remembering the lasting scent of Larry's cologne the day he left. I don't think we ever told him that. Please pass that on - his cologne is most distinctive. I treasure our friendship and look forward to more good times of sharing and caring. I think of you both so many times through the day and send continual prayers your way. God is holding you in the palm of his hand.

A line from a child's book I had reads:
Said the sparrow to the robin, I should really like to know,
Why these anxious human beings rush around and worry so.
Said the robin to the sparrow, I think that it must be,
That they have no heavenly father such as cares for you and me.

He cares for us every minute of every day and is with us always.

Love Celeste

Kathy and Larry: I sent (or thought I sent) an email to you this morning, but don't see it listed. That's okay because the message never changes.....we love you and we lift you in prayer to a mighty, awesome God. It is so wonderful to read everyone's messages to you ... The messages have allowed us to see the quilt of your lives. We often only know a few "patches" in each other's lives, but with this situation, we all can get a glimpse of the entire quilt. You have both made an indelible mark on all our lives. The Lord walks with you and is holding Larry up. Love, Becky

Mansion Over The Hilltop by Ira Stamphill
I'm satisfied with just a cottage below
A little silver and a little gold
But in that city where the ransomed will shine
I want a gold one that's silver lined

I've got a mansion just over the hilltop
In that bright land where we'll never grow old
And some day yonder we will never more wander
But walk on streets that are purest gold

Though often tempted, tormented, and tested
And like the prophet my pillow's a stone
And though I find here no permanent dwelling
I know he'll give me a mansion my own

I've got a mansion just over the hilltop
In that bright land where we'll never grow old
And some day yonder we will never more wander
But walk on streets that are purest gold

Don't think me poor or deserted or lonely
I'm not discouraged I'm heaven bound
I'm but a pilgrim in search of the city
I want a mansion, a harp and a crown

I've got a mansion just over the hilltop
In that bright land where we'll never grow old
And some day yonder we will never more wander
But walk on streets that are purest gold!

Ask and you shall receive my dear! I love you! xoxoxo

Good morning to you all! Like everyone else the first thing we do each morning is check on Larry's progess. I woke up several times last night thinking about him and praying for you all. Ramon said to me the other night "it is in my nature to get up and help during a tragedy and this sitting and waiting is so hard". I guess we all feel that way and wish there was something we could do to make this time a little easier for you all. Would Larry be allowed to have a CD player by his bed? We could send some christian music or audio bible tapes, things of that nature. What little "comforts" do the rest of you need for your temporary home there? Is there anything that you have found you need but just don't have with you? Would you like to have the Ft. Myers paper delivered there to you? Could we contact your cell phone company and pay for extra minutes on your contract? Anything at all that you can think of! Give Larry our love and tell him that when he is better I have a great story for him (I would tell it to you but you know how he likes to hear me tell the stories!) We love you guys! Hugs and kisses to you all from your little sister and brother-in-law!

Kathy and Larry,
Please let me extend my prayers, hopes and dreams of a spectacular recovery. Although Larry knows me as a young attending at MCP, I probably at this very moment feel much, much closer to Kathy as I know the heartache and worry of the caretaker. Just shy of 32 months ago, my daughter was entirely disabled out of surgery for a cancerous brain tumor. The therapy seemed painfully slow. It was over three weeks just to regain head control and more than two months to regain speech. Today she was dancing in the kitchen doing karaoke. So many lessons in patience, trust and faith. I have included a website which published something that I wrote- it might seem appropriate http://www.squirreltales.com/articles/sixthsense.html Please if there is anything I can do for either of you don't hesitate to write or call anytime.

Kathy and Larry: What a joy to connect with you daily. I thank God that we have this communication tool. Ps 91 comes to mind for you....."He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust". You do dwell there and I rejoice in your faith. Kathy, if you can, will you read Ps 91 to Larry for me.....and I shall pray it for you and your family daily. To Larry, Kathy and all the kids. We just got home and found the web page. What a great idea and so easy to keep in touch. I understand how these messages are a source of blessing for you because reading through each one, and hearing all the words of praise and feeling all the love flowing your way has been such an inspiration to me! Just like everyone else, we want to do whatever we can to make this time a little easier for you all, please let me know of anything that would help! You know that we are just waiting on the word from you and we will be there. Ramon is anxious to be there wtih his "concunio". I pray not only for Larry's recovery but that God keep his loving arms around you all, giving you the strength to face each day and the comfort you need to rest at night. My favorite Irish Blessing (you remember the plaque I have by my front door) May the road rise up to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, And the rains fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His Hand! This is our prayer for you all. We love you, Vickie and Ramon

Kathy, Marc, and Sherri, My prayers are with you. Let me know if I can help out with the traveling back & forth to Orlando. It's a short flight and I have access to several planes. I can also help get Larry home by Air Ambulance when the time comes. Call me 24/7. My beeper is 941-930-8681.

Kathy - We had the pleasure of meeting several times at the AAEM Powerpoint Course in Orlando. I was one of Larry's disciples at MCP.

I am saddened to learn of this setback. In Orlando, I was awestruck at Larry's determination and courage. Robbed of facial expression, the gleam in Larry's eye bespoke of the inner strength he posessed then. Under adversity, it is truly possible to gauge the metal of a man.

I was also struck by the complete devotion that you and he shared. It was truly wonderful.

Larry is and will always be the consummate clinician, educator, and mentor.

My thoughts are with you both.

To both Larry and Cathy:
Larry may not remember me, as I was just a lowly intern when he decided to move back to Florida, but he was my personal inspiration to go into Emergency Medicine and to come to MCP for training. We have missed him
greatly since he left and I was very shocked to hear of his recent illness.
Larry, you are in my prayers for a full recovery. I will be thinking of you and your family and checking back on your progress.

Hey guys, Sorry to hear what happened. What a great idea with the web page and we really appreciate the updates on Larry. Glad that he is responding, but I know there is a long way to go. If there is something that we can do down here with the house to help out or anything else, please give us a call. Cathy, take care of yourself. I know that you have got to be drained before this accident, so I am sure this did not help at all. You both are in our prayers and take care. Love ya, Brad and Roseanne

Greetings from BEAUTIFUL and cool North Carolina! Sorry Larry...just had to remind you of what you left up here. Of course the company was pretty good too :-) We are praying without ceasing and know that the Lord has His arms around you both. I pray that you have His peace that passeth all understanding and feel His presence there with you! Whenever we have trials, Ronnie and I like to remember Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strengh to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall; But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Ronnie said he has soared with those eagles but will wait till Larry is better so he can share that experience with yall together. Sorry...but I will not be making that trip. I have a fear of heights even with a parachute :-) Kathy, please get enough rest and you both remember how much we love you. If you need us, please call. We need to make a trip down there anyway :-) Love to you always, Ronnie and Hazy

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 We Know you are in the hands of THE ALMIGHTY, and "He is able to keep" what has been committed to HIM. "Nothing is able to separate us" from His love and presence. Hi Kathy and Larry: Am including a prayer we found when Mom was sick that is a great source of hope and inspiration.

Lord, you have invited Your people to call upon You in the day of trouble and You have promised to deliver them. Trusting in that promise I come to You in this time of need. Comfort, strengthen, and heal me according to Your will. Guide Your medical servants as they minister to me with the wisdom and skill You have given them. At the same time let my illness serve to build me up in faith. Keep me close to You as the source of all blessings for both body and soul. And as You deliver me from this and other evils, help me remember to glorify You and tell everyone what You have done for my physical health and especially for my eternal salvation through Christ. Amen.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
