THIS SITE IS PROVIDED TO KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED ON KYLE'S PROGRESS WITH HIS FIGHT WITH LEUKEMIA.KYLE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH PRE B CELL ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA (ALL)ON MARCH 21, 2002. KYLE WILL BE TREATED A
TOTAL OF 130 WEEKS OF CHEMO. THIS CANCER IS TREATABLE AND CURABLE.
On Thursday,February 11,2004 we learned Kyle had RELAPSED in his Central Nervous System. He will be treated on a new protocol for 2 years.
Sadly, On December 15,2005 Kyle has RELAPSED in his left eye. Kyle will now have a bone marrow transplant.
Kyle had a sibling matched Bone Marrow Transplant on Tuesday February 7th 2006

Thursday, June 25, 2009 1:21 PM CDT Kyle is coming along at Duke. Ed sees improvement in his swelling, skin and attitude. We just received some unsettling news from the Bone Scan. Ortho is going to be up to see Ed. I will share the details after we get the whole picture Kyle is being treated for the same virus he had back in December 2008 Kyle has been doing OT,PT and speech everyday. He is also being rotated from his back to his side for 1/2hrs at a time to get him off his backside. The nurse is allowing oxygen to flow on open wounds to promote healing. Im holding the fort down. I have to babysit on Saturday afternoon. Aubree and I are going to have lunch and play at the mall. On Saturday evening I will be attending a fundraiser for a friend of Michele Cameron(Jorgenson)AND also saying GOODBYE to Michele who is off to Portland, OR to study Medicine. If you are interested in attending. It is taking place at Havana Hide Out,509 Lake Ave in Lake Worth. Michele's Boyfriend Scott will be the musical guest. begins around 8 or 9pm ish. The cover charge will benefit Michele's friend who is traveling to Uganda to do volunteer work. PLEASE IF YOU KNOW MICHELE COME WISH HER WELL. Colette is doing good. Her doctors visit went well. My mom complained of cold weather last week this week she is whinning about the heat. They are headed to WI for a wedding. Please keep us in your prayers. Kensey a little gal from WPB who is at Duke underwent her Bone Marrow Transplant this week. Keep her and her family in your prayers GROW CELLS GROW.
