Diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma on April 2004

Wow, it has been a LONG time since I checked in! I guess since school has started, time has slipped away from me!Things are going pretty good. Ross ended up going into Arnold Palmer towards the end of summer for evaluation. They ended up having to put him on seizure medication. He is taking it pretty good. The biggest drawback for him is not being allowed to drive for 6 months, until he is diagnosed 'seizure free'.

Before I forget, I am going to be doing the MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER 5K on October 1. I'm on the Pink Hugs Team...we are REALLY trying to raise funds to help this cause. IF you can stop by and make a pledge, I would be so grateful!!!!!!!! Here is the link to get to the Pink Hugs Team, then just select Kathy (or whoever else). Sadly, one of our team mates, Sue Harris, passed away this past Friday.

Well, football season is upon us. I guess the Bravettes (Brooke's dance team) will be at a lot of the home games this year, so that will be nice...fall and football!

Back to the 5k in October....Thanks to Mom & Dad, Aunt G, Aunt B, Alton, Mike, Dianne & Mark for helping me to reach my FIRST goal of $800....I have moved my goal up to $1000 now...I'm REALLY close. I have now lost 3 friends to Breast Cancer; Wendy McCabe, Denise Thomas, and now Sue Harris. I now have many more friends fighting against it; Lisa, Donna, Joann, JoAnne, Anne, Eileen, Darla, Mary Ann, Gail, Katie, Lani, Patra.....So if you can...help?
