Dear Lester Family,
Some day, in Gods time; you will see your sweet Emily again.
Until that time comes, may the Lord lift you up in comfort and strength and sustain your family in all the glory in which "Em" so lived her life. What an inspirational young lady she was to myself and to many other families! Thank you for sharing this very personal and private part of your lives with us. I feel so honored that God led me to your site three years ago when my son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Emily and your family have helped me in so many ways and for that I thank you for sharing, encouraging and uplifting me when I needed it so much.
The out pouring of Love on these pages today are truely a testimony as to how much Emily and your family are loved.
Sincerely,
Cathy Intermill & Family

God is gracious all the time, but I'm having a hard time finding that in reading that Emily isn't in this place, with her family, where we humans think she should be. May God comfort you, may Christ be with you, and may you always be touched by the presence of the Holy Spirit. Know that your daughter/sister/neice/friend touched more folks than you will ever imagine.

May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you this day and always

My heart is so heavy with this news...I've been praying for Emily for awhile and will ask the Lord to wrap his arms around you now and in all the days ahead. She is safe with Jesus and for that I am grateful. How proud you must be of her and the grace and courage she taught all of us.

Dear Lester Family
I was so sad to hear of your news.
I have shared your story with everyone I can think of.
Please know that each and everyone of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
We will continue to fight in Emily's memory. She was so blessed to have a wonderful caring family to fight with her.
I know at this devastating time in all your lives may you find comfort and strength in our "God" who has plans for all of us that we may not understand.
We are all here for all of your family.
God Bless Always

I have a son with cancer and it is not fair that this happens to our children. I do not see how praying does any good when they are not healed. What's the use. It is not fair and I feel for your family.

Dear Lester Family,
Oh how my heart breaks today so I can't even begin to imagine your pain. I feel such peace that sweet Emily is no longer suffering but such an emptiness that she is no longer here. She has made my faith stronger and Hope has never been more alive to me than now. She has touched more people in her short life than most people ever will. I didn't know what else to do so I made a donation to St. Jude's today and I pray that a cure will come soon. Keep fighting Chemo Crew and congratulations on all the money you raised today. Emily and her family are heros to me.

Love,
Amy

Borrowed Angels by Kristen Chenoweth

They shine a little brighter,
They feel a little more,
They touch your life in ways no one has ever done before,
They love a little stronger,
They live to give their best,
They make our lives so blessed,
So why do they go so soon?
The ones with souls so beautiful,
I heard someone say
There must be borrowed angels here in this life,
They come along into this world,
And make this world bright.
But they can't stay forever,
Cause they're Heaven sent,
And sometimes Heaven needs them back again.

They reach a little deeper,
To see what's in your soul,
And even when they leave, you know,
You'll never let them go.
The world's a little richer,
Just cause they came along,
Their love goes on and on,
So why do they go so soon?
The ones with souls so beautiful,
I heard someone say
There must be borrowed angels here in this life,
They come along into this world,
And make this world bright.
But they can't stay forever,
Cause they're Heaven sent,
And sometimes Heaven needs them back again.

How else can you explain,
Why they're here and not here to stay?
I believe there must be, must be,
Borrowed angels here in this life,
They come along into this world,
And make this world bright.
But they can't stay forever,
Cause they're Heaven sent,
And sometimes Heaven needs them back again,
Sometimes Heaven needs them back again.

I am praying for your family through this unimaginably hard time. I know the feeling that Emily must have had, that God is supporting us and carrying us through health trials. He will carry us to whatever will bring Him the most glory, even if that is to praise Him forever in Heaven. That can never take away all the pain of your loss, but at least in grief there is comfort. May God bring you the peace that surpasses all understanding!

My condolences to the Lester Family.
I was so sad this morning when I read the new, its 9:38 PM EDT and I just finished reading the guest book from Emily’s web page and I am completely blown away!! Since this morning there are almost 200 entries from families all over who where touch by Emily in the most amazing way. You all must be extremely proud of Emily for sharing her story in the way she did and for making so many people’s lives just a little bit better and brighter. I have never meet Emily but she sure made me stop and count my blessing. My prayers are with your family and all of her friends and I will never forget what a special person Emily was.

Dear Emily,
We left here already miss you greatly. We wanted to keep your dream of reaching the Gold Status at Relay for Life alive!! Therefore we decided to keep and work at the Publix Tag day today-- even though our hearts were breaking . You must have been looking over us----TODAY ALONE we raised $1,553.50. In all the years we have all done tag day fundraisers, no one we know has raised this much money in ONE day. People listened, others came out when they knew we were there and were incredibly generous, still others knew all about you Emily--many cried. One high school student went inside-cashed her pay check--and gave us her cash. What a statement to how much you are still touching our lives here.

We WILL reach that goal Em. We continue to pray for your peaceful rest and know that God has indeed taken one of the greatest people we have ever been blessed to know home with him.

God Bless you Emily. Rest in Peace. We will continue the fight here.
We love you.

For the past couple of weeks I have begun to fully appreciate life and the opportunities that accompany it. I realize now that I have taken many things for granted and I feel that we all do. Emily did not take life for granted. She touched countless hearts and remains with us. She was and still is our hope for the better. Even though it may seem that the candle is flickering dimly the light is still there. The light is Emily. I and many others pray for the Lester family. The next time we see her I know she will be sitting in the highest part of heaven happier than ever.

"In Better Hands"- Natalie Grant
It's hard to stand on shifting sand
It's hard to shine in the shadows of the night
You can't be free if you don't reach for help
You cant love if you dont love yourself

There is hope when my faith runs out
Cause I'm in better hands now

It's like the sun is shining when the rain is pouring down
It's like my soul is flying though my feet are on the ground
Its like the world is silent though I know it isnt true
Its like the breath of Jesus is right here in this room

So take this heart of mine there's no doubt
I'm in better hands now
I'm in better hands now
Fly sweet angel, we know you are in better hands now!

CHRIS TOMLIN LYRICS

"Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)"

Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed

CHORUS
My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, Amazing grace

The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow
The sun forbear to shine
But God, Who called me here below
Will be forever mine
Will be forever mine
You are forever mine

I signed in the other day but I think it may not have actually made it to the guestbook. In any case, this note says much the same thing. I knew that God would do what was best for all involved and that it may leave those of us left on Earth longing for and mourning such a beautiful soul. I was so connected to Emily just because of a shared journey of sorts, but also because I am a Duke grad and was so thrilled to hear of her intentions to joined the ranks of Dukies. I truly feel a loss in both senses, but nothing near what those closest to her are enduring. I know it does not even begin to compare. Please just know that in my little corner of the world, she has touched hundreds of lives as I have shared her journey with my Duke hospital family as well as my Duke alum family and she will be missed by both because they knew that she touched my heart so the loss touches theirs as well. Emily is at peace. I will now focus more of the prayers for a miracle for her to the prayers for a miracle for those left behind that they may somehow put one foot in front of the other through these dark days that will continue to be lighted by the legacy of a teenager with the impact and wisdom of an 80-year old. Rest well sweet Emily. To her family and other loved ones, you are lifted up to the only One who can bring you any form of true peace--Christ the Lord. Find Him because of her. Hope is alive because Emily lived. She certainly increased my hope and I never even met her except through a few emails and this website. What an impact and what a young woman.

We Give Them Back To You

We give them back to you,
for you gave them to us.
Yet as you did not lose them in giving
so we have not lost them by their return.
Not as the world gives do you give,
O lover of souls.
What you give, you do not take away,
for what is yours is ours always
if we are yours.
And life is eternal and love is immortal,
and death is only an horizon,
and an horizon nothing save the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, that we may see further.

Poem
By: Emily
They say it is a battle
They say it is my fight
That I am such a strong one
As I make it through each night

That I'm so brave to take it
All this pain I hate
How can I not? I have no choice
This cancer was my fate

What defines a winner?
To die or stay alive
They say that you're a winner
When it is gone and you survive

But what defines a failure?
It's not when death takes place!
Suffering is rewarded
When Heaven is your place

Because if you think about it
Is Heaven not a true reward?
To live in paradise for suffering
Is a repayment from our LORD

I think that the true answer
Is that cancer's really tough
Through life or death you always succeed
When God has put you through enough

So next time you call it battle
There is some thought that you should give
You always win for suffering
Whether you pass away or live

Emily wrote this in 2003 and it's always stuck with me. God bless you, Emily.

Dear Lester family,
I have been following Emily's story for about 6 months but never written-- I was so sad to hear that Emily passed away and I don't know what to say. I am 16 and lost a very close friend to relapsed leukemia 3 years ago. I am acutely aware of how much pain you all must be in and my heart goes out to all of you. Emily was an inspiration for many people, and this will not end even though she is no longer physically here! I have recently raised over $8000 for childhood cancer research in memory of my friend, and it was really amazing how people in my community rallied to support this cause when they heard her story. In a similar way, Emily will continue to inspire and her compassion will never die!
I wanted to share a poem with you that my friend's family and I found comforting:
The Homecoming

The spirit, newly freed from earth
is all amazed at the surprise
of her belonging: suddenly
as native to eternity
to see herself, to realize
the heritage that lets her be
at home where all this glory lies.

By naught foretold could she have guessed
such welcome home: the robe, the ring,
music and endless banqueting
these people hers; this place of rest
known, as of long remembering,
herself a child of God and pressed
with warm endearments to His breast.

--Jessica Powers

Emily lives on in all the lives she has touched, and she will never be forgotten!

I'm so sorry about your loss of Emily. Although she touched many including myself, you were the ones around her night and day. I just want to say that Emily has done more with her life for God and others- is still doing it now- than people have done with their longer lives. She is my inspiration and my role model. I will continue to keep you in my prayers!

Emily is whole again, and she is finally free from this horrible beast(cancer).
I HATE cancer! I HATE the fact that someone so young should have to go through what Miss Emily had to go through, bbut she did everything with dignaty, courage, and more wisdom than anyone I know. Her battle has not been in vein, she has taught us the true meaning of life, and how to fight like a champ!
Emily will be missed but NEVER forgotten. She is a hero!

Dear Lester Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Emily was my student, but she taught far more than I could have ever hoped to teach her. Dearest Lesters,
The pain you feel right now I know must be indescribable. I pray that our beautiful angels Emily and Jessie have bonded in heaven where they most want to be and that together they watch over us and pray for us who are left missing them. Catherine - please know I'm here for you whenever - I know you pain, I know what it's like to lose your best friend and sister. When I pray for you all, I particularly think of you and how much you have fought for Emily and helped her fight. The fight has been won and Emily has heard the words she has most wanted to hear "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
I remember shortly after Jessie passed away, there was nothing that anyone could say to make me feel better. Once, when we had a candle vigil for her, these people from some ministry came and said "It must make you feel better about your sister's death that her life touched so many people" and I looked at them and said "No, it really doesn't" and walked away. The truth is, you will be honored Emily touched so many people and happy that there are so many to carry on her memory - but it doesn't make you feel "better." They are different feelings. I'm so sorry you have to feel them.
Lesters, know that it's ok to not be ok right now. Know that you don't have to answer to anyone, or worry about anyone else right now - you have every right to focus on yourselves and you thoughts and emotions - don't let anyone make you feel differently.
I used to worry that I would make people feel bad because I was sad, or uncomfortable when I talked about Jessie. But talking about her helped me grieve because it made me feel like she wasn't really gone. If you want to talk about Emily and it makes people feel uncomfortable - that's their problem, not yours.
Know that there are so many people here that love you and will do anything they can for you. Please, Catherine if you ever need to talk, or just have someone to cry to - I'm here.
love love love

We lift your family up in prayer and will continue to do so. May God grant you the strength and comfort you need in the coming days. Emily touched our hearts and inspiried us on a daily basis. We have our 2 1/2 year old son include Emily in his daily prayers and, as we were speaking in the car this morning, he said several times that he was "praying for God to make Emily all better". God has answered that prayer today and we rejoice that she is in His loving arms, free of any pain and suffering.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful Emily with us out here in cyberspace and allowing us the honor of speaking to our Lord on her behalf. For our family, we "met" Emily in August of '03 and grew to love her as many others have. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, her family and many, many friends. We continue to pray for your peace in the knowledge that Emily is now seated at the right hand of God keeping watch over those she loves!! God Bless you all.

I thought I saw her face today,
In the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say,
"Her work on earth is done."

I thought I heard her voice today,
Then laugh her hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say,
"There's peace dear one at last."

I thought I felt her touch today,
In the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The spirit never dies."

I thought I saw my broken heart,
In the crescent of the moon.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The Lord is coming soon."

I thought that she had left me,
For the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She left you with her love."

I knew that I would miss her so,
And never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,
"She's with you every day."

"The sun, the wind, the moon, the stars,
Will forever be around,
Reminding you of the love you shared,
And the peace she's finally found. (BD)

Love and prayers,
Linda

dear Lester family,
my heart aches right now. i never met emily but she was such an inspiration! i will be praying for you all during this difficult time..you all have been thorough soo much these past seven years. but you have always held onto God. this was the poem that was used on my friends celebration of life card. its fits perfectly:
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not meant to be,
So he put his arms around you
and whispered "Come to Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,
as we saw you pass away.
Although we loved you deeply,
we could not make you stay.
Your Golden Heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

and my favorite verses:
2 corinthians 1:3-11
The God of All Comfort
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.
8We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about the hardships we suffered in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. 9Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 10He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, 11as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our[a] behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

1 Corinthians 9:24
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. AND DID SHE EVER!!
2 Timothy 4:6-8
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

I have followed Emily's story for the past 3 years, having first heard about her on Jacob Duckworth's site. She has been an inspiration to those of us who have children fighting cancer (I too have a son fighting A.L.L.), and a beacon of light. Her ability to truly live life to its fullest continues to inspire me each day. Her memory will live on - even in the hearts and lives of those like me, who never had a chance to meet Emily face to face.

Please know that my family will continue to pray for your family in the coming days, weeks, and months as you learn to live without your sweet Emily. I praise the Lord that she is free from the pain and bonds that leukemia had set for her - but I know your hearts will be hurting for a long, long time.

I pray that the Lord will show you the plans He now has for you. Surely He has a plan to use Emily's story for His glory. In the months and years to come, I look forward to watching that plan unfold as you seek His will, seeing Emily's story continuing to reach others for God's glory as the years go on.

I had to check in again to see if there was news...and with tears streaming down my face I walked down to the office to share with you the words I have shared with too many families of those who have gone on before them....

"In God's plan every life is long enough and every death is timely.
And though you and I might wish for a longer life, God knows better.

And - this is very important - though you and
I may wish a longer life for our loved ones, they don't. Ironically,
the first to accept God's decision of death is the one who dies.

While we are shaking heads in disbelief, they are lifting hands to worship.
While we are mourning at a grave, they are marveling at heaven.
While we are questioning God, they are praising God."

From Max Lucado....Traveling Light.

As I have been in the "cancer world" now for almost 9 years...one would think I would get use to our earthly loss of another wonderful child. I do not...but what I have come to know and hold true to is that when our children are given to us...they come with an "expiration" date. The date the Father takes them back into His loving arms. Some expiration dates are a long time down the road...others like your Emily and my Vanessa are meant to be short and sweet. They fulfill their life duties early...they pack into their short years all they need...and than the Father embraces them again on His side of heaven.

That's the hope...the truth I hold onto...that's what gives me the drive to go on...Risking again....

My hope and prayers are for you to feel the Father's love surround you...giving you peace for the moment.

Emily wishes that for us all...

Dear Lester Family,
I am Honored to have known your very courageous daughter that I met through Caring Bridge, while we all prayed for Christine Clasen, who too "won" her battle 4/27/05 The Angels are surely wrapping Emily with the light of our Saviors love, may you also feel his loving arms around each of you. You all should be very proud of who Emily is and what she has taught so MANY of us, never give up, never lose faith, always believe, always hope.
My deepest prayers, and sympathy go with you all

Dearest Lester Family,

I felt the same sense of loss today I felt when my own daughter lost her valiant earthly battle with this monster we call cancer and I want you to know my heart and prayers are with you all. May the support of friends, family and complete strangers who fell in love with precious Emily continue to give you strength and may you know you are loved.

It is times like this we begin to understand the full magnitude of God's loving grace for within it you WILL find release from this deep anguish and loss with hope, strength and peace. May He surround you with mercy as you hold each other up and fill your hearts with love.

When I read the heartwrenching news today I immediately thought of the verse below:

Mat 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Welcome home dear Emily. You brought thousands to their knees in prayer; thousands bowed their heads and all of us are better because of the light and inspiration you brought to this often difficult world. Your light will shine forever. While we mourn the absence of your worldly presence, all of Heaven is rejoicing at your homecoming.

God bless you all! My heart and fervent prayers are with you.
Much love,

Lester Family-
Our hearts are saddened as we read and found out about Emily. We have followed Emily's story since Audri was across the room from Emily when she came into to St. Jude 2023. She was such an amazing person and I shared her site with everyone that visited Audri's site and request their prayers as well for Ms.Emily. You all have touched our hearts and you all have a special place there. Emily has inspired so many. We are definitely keepin you all in our prayers and may God give you strength and comfort knowing that you were there by her side all the way fighting with her. Lifting you all in prayer at this time as my heart is so heavy for you all. We love you- Trish and Steve. I am so glad that God placed you in our lives. You two are amazing as well.

Dear Lester Family and Friends,

Emily has inspired hundreds more people than you can imagine. To love full lives, to fight the good fight, to strive for your highest potential and to never forget that we desperately need to find a cure for cancer. I have never commented before, but have followed Emily's life for quite a while. I have to walk by faith and not by sight and believe that Emily has found the ultimate reward, just as her uncle said. None of you or Emily will ever be forgotten. Your saga is one of true inspiration of how to live life and unwavering faith and grace. To Emily, I salute you for a life well lived and pray for your eternal life to be everything you deserve and more.
With love,

There are no words to describe all that you have witnessed and gone through in your support, devotion and efforts to do all you could for Emily. Hope floats

Even as things go downhill
And life becomes hell
Hope floats
Even as the world deserts you
And friends are few
Hope floats
Even as the only thing you have
Is a loneliness that is scary
Hope floats
Even as all seems lost and
Time remains a few grains of sand
Hope floats
Even as life seems beyond complaint
And strains of joy become faint
Hope floats
There may be nothing else to do
Than survive
And yet…as the self becomes distant
From the soul
There’s a voice that says
Hope floats...

I believe in you

I believe in your rising and falling
I believe in your smiles and tears
I believe in your joys and pains
I believe in your seed and name
I believe in your sunrise and sunset
I believe in your clouds and raindrops
I believe in your moon and galaxy of stars
I believe in you struggles and hopes
I believe in your desires and angels
I believe in your soil
I believe in your future
I believe in your generation
I believe in you

You are a true fighter and keep on fighting Emily,
we are all praying, hoping and believing

He is with you always.

Sharing my prayer with you..

God,
We love you so much and we continue to ask and pray for your healing touch for Emily. You are the Almighty, the Healer, our Father and we all turn to you and ask for Your miraculous touch. God, we ask and pray that you remove all the toxins in Emily's body. We ask and pray that you re-form her colon and make it whole. We ask and pray that you reduce all swelling in her body. We ask and pray that you touch each organ in her body that they may function properly. We ask and pray that you touch her kidneys that they may function on their own. We ask and pray that you touch her lungs that Emily can breathe on her own. We ask and pray that you touch her blood that all clots would dissipate. We ask and pray that you touch every cell in her body and make them healthy. We ask and pray that the cancer would leave her body like a cloud of black smoke and every cell be strengthened and renewed. We ask and pray for your divine intervention. We ask and pray for your warm and healing touch to cover her body that Emily will be comnpletely healed. We ask and pray for Emily's family who, at this critical hour, is turning to you for their only hope. Yes, God, though things may look impossible with our eyes, we turn to you. We lift our eyes to you. Yes, God, for with you all things are possible. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Emily and Family,

Our continued thoughts and prayers reach out to each of you at this very difficult time.

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders,
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders,
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

May each of our prayers continue to raise you up Emily in wellness; through Christ our Lord.

Dearest Family,
So glad your g.book is fixed and the notes are "sticking". I know of at least 5 people who have come daily and left messages, all the way to recieving the "thank you for signing" only to discover it didn't take. I only share this so you'll know you're getting even more support than your g.book shows, with far more people lifting you up with love in prayer.
Have been carrying you in my heart as I go about my daily life for 4 days solid, whispering your name and holding you up.
Much Love & Warm Support,

Please know that many prayers are being offered here in Syracuse.

May I make a suggestion that maybe tommorrow night everyone light a candle in their window for God to see all the prayers offered for a Miracle for Emily. What that must look like from space because I know that these candles all over the world would be shining for her strength and recovery.

To everyone who is local to the Seminole Area. We are continuing to raise funds for the Relay for Life Team for which Emily is the Captain. She has a passion for this team and for this fundraiser. Please tell anyone you know to come by the Indian Rocks Publix tomorrow to help us raise those funds for THE CHEMO CREW. WE are currently a "Bronze" level team and we want to get to "Silver" before the event. Genevieve and I will be there all day from 8:30am to 4:00pm. I do know we are also going to have Jeff,Rachel, Kanyon, Kaley, Mikayla and hopefully all other Emily supporters. Anyone else-we would love the company. Let's do an awesome job for our Captain!!! WE love you Emily and are praying night and day for your miracle.

Dear Lester Family: I have been following Emily for years and I don't know that I have ever written. I have been where your fmaily is today with my daughter Meghan who was 2 1/2 when she lost her battle with Bi-Phenotypic Leukemia. I unfortunately know the pain, the fear and the shear exhaustion that you all are enduring and my heart aches for all of you. The decisions you have to make at this point are the hardest you will ever face. I have sent Emily's story out to everyone I know so that she can be added to as many prayer lists as possible. Dear Emily,

It's your Aunt Tricia in Iowa. I just wanted to reassure you that every day you have more and more people praying for your complete recovery. Everyone I encounter is touched by your story and agrees to pray for you. I know that God is using your suffering to bring others closer to Him. This past weekend we celebrated Divine Mercy Sunday, an extra special day of mercy and grace. I asked God to channel his healing mercy to you and I trust that HE is. Continue to pray Emily. Pray with faith and know that you are so very loved by Him and by so many here on earth! Love, Aunt Tricia

I have been checking in on Emily continuosly, though I have not signed the guestbook in a while. I am still thinking of her and praying for her. I don't know if you remember us from the fashion show of last year or the flashes of hope photo shoot last winter but my little girl Sierra also has ALL and has just relapsed. We are weighing so many decisions ourselves as to the best plan to take for her due to her having Downs kind of makes the decision trickier. Her relapse has me thinking even more of Emily, Mathew & Jimmy. I pray they all recover and that they live a long and healthy, cancer free life.

In prayer,

Blessed Emily,
I send you this prayer before I sleep.
God our Father, source of all health, be near your daughter Emily who suffers in this time of weakness and pain; relieve her of her burden and heal her. Father we pray that You grant her peaceful sleep so that her body and soul may rest in her hours of silence.
Bless her family who know not what another day may bring. Make them ready for whatever it may be. whether they must stand, or sit or be confined, grant them a strong spirit.
Father inspire those who bring healing and care to our sister Emily. May they bestow Your gifts of health and strength upon her.
Grant this prayer, through Christ our Lord. Amen
