DAVID JOURNEY NORRIS
January 15, 2001-August 25,2005
I WILL (A song by the Beatles, David used to sing it to me all the time)
Who knows how long I've loved you? You know I love you still Will I wait a lonely lifetime If you want me to-- I will
For if I ever saw you I didn't catch your name But it never really mattered I will always feel the same.
I love you forever and forever I love with all my heart I love you whenever we're together I love you when we're apart.
And when at last I find you Your song will fill the air Sing it loud so I can hear you Make it easy to be near you For the things you do endear you to me. You know I will. I will
On January 13th 2005, just 2 days before his 4th birthday, David was diagnosed with a cancer called Neuroblastoma. He was categorized as stage IV. His fight with this horrible disease was a short one, only 7 months. We miss him terribly, eventhough he isn't here with us on earth physically, his presence is always with us. David reminds us of everything wonderful in this world.
We only had 4 years with him, but it was 4 years full of great memories, and lessons learned, and laughter, and so much love. David will always be our HERO forever. THANK YOU JESUS FOR A WONDERFUL GIFT.
"A hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...but the world maybe different because I was important in the life of a child."

Monday, August 25, 2008 10:59 PM CDT Hi David, I was trying so hard not to remember today, three years ago. I can't believe it's been that long. Daddy made sure I remembered. I was not in a very good mood today. I just want you to know how much I LOVE YOU and HOW MUCH YOU HAVE BEEN MISSED around here. I will write you some more later. I wish that I will dream about you tonight when I go to sleep.
I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART UNTIL MY HEART STOPS BEATING...
MOMMY
