Journal
Friday, April 25, 2008 7:27 AM CDT After going to Emily’s funeral. I have never missed Bailee so much. The pain and feelings, all came back, as if I was at Bailee’s funeral. My heart was so broken for Emily’s family. This is happening more and more, each and every day; these kids are losing their lives, to this horrible disease.
Please keep their family in your prayers, as it is these weeks, that is becomes the loneliest. When family goes home, when your friends stop calling, and when you are faced with the reality, that your child is really gone.
The pain does get better with time, but the thought of Bailee, and the times we had together, are so fresh in my mind. When I go to bed at night, I pray that she watches over us, and I make the promise to her, we will be together once again.
Please keep all the kids, as well as adults, in your prayers.
God Bless,
Robin
