Today is Ashlan's 8th birthday. I can't believe it! She had a big party yesterday. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day in spite of Tropical Depression Fay. She got a new puppy for her birthday. I'll put some pictures in the album for you to see.

Ashlan started 3rd grade last week. She is adjusting well and is liking school each day so far. We'll see how long that lasts! She is still in gymnastics and is doing really well.

This spring, in April, I have decided to participate in a half marathon for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in Nashville. I've been wanting to do one but haven't been able to get it together so I've decided on this one. When Ashlan was sick, this was the ONLY organization that gave us financial help so I want to give back to them.

Please continue to pray for Ashlan. She is doing great but we have to go 4 more years with no reoccurance of Leukemia before they will say the cancer is gone.
