Wednesday, July 6, 2011 4:18 PM CDT My entries are farther and farther apart as time passes. I just read the last entry I made and have a bit of updating to do! ALL GOOD! Currently I am sitting in beautiful Williamstown, MA waiting for Steven to get out of work. He's been running one of his facilities for the last 7 weeks while searching for the right candidate. The children and I (along with Sadie) made our first trip here last week and had so much fun sight-seeing that we came back for a few days this week. Nicholas finished 6th grade last month. He had a great year with wonderful teachers. The anxiety he had through much of fifth grade was certainly not as strong in 6th. His health has been great. He continues to be small in stature, which he comments about at times. There is no evidence that his treatment had any effect on his growth. Rather, it is probably due to his genes! The doctors have plotted his growth and he remains in the very low height percentiles, but he's on the curve, so I am told there is nothing to worry about! I'll bet there is a growth-spurt right around the corner because my grocery bill is steadily climbing! Nicholas is developing a great confidence in dealing with doctors...he certainly still gets very nervous for any type of appointment (even the dentist), but once at the office he asks a lot of questions and verbalizes his concerns. Another newsworthy item is that Nicholas got braces on June 2nd! He also has a palate expander on the roof of his mouth which he's handling very well! 7th grade is right around the corner, but for now we are all just going to enjoy a wonderful summer full of fun and the blessings of good health!
