Jillian has made her first anniversary of being off treatment on January 29th. And I am proud to say she is very healthy. She did not miss one day of school this past marking period for the first time in three years!!! That was a very happy moment for me. Jill does very well in school and likes all the kids in her class. She says they are all funny and make her laugh, which as we know is good for the soul. This year is flying by already.
We had a wonderful Christmas with many activities as usual. We went to the Hole in the Wall gang Camps Christmas party in Dec. where Jill won a Mt. bike. Her Nana got a picture with her favorite actor Paul Newman, to us he is much more than that.
We are off to Maine tomorrow to Camp Sunshine, a kids cancer camp, located on Sabago Lake. The kids will have an opportunity to ski, and ice skate, there is an indoor pool,(thank god). Kaitlin has been trying to ski and is a great skater, Jill has been doing better with skating. They are very excited about the trip, but I feel we should be heading south instead of colder north.
