Jacob's Page

Welcome to Jacob's Page. We hope you find this a comforting way to remember the most special boy we will ever know.

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain."

So, I couldn't let today go by without adding an entry, but I really don't know what I want to say. Today marks one year that the sweetest, bravest, most special boy that I am convinced I will ever know left this world for what needs to be a much better one. I definitely don't feel like this is a day that should be celebrated, but it most certainly can not be ignored.

Every day is a day that I miss Jacob and every day is a day that I remember all the special times we shared. Every day is a day that I wish he were here for me to share thoughts and hugs and kisses with and every day is a day I wonder what life would have been like if he had beaten his cancer and was still here with us. Life gets busy for everyone. And I guess, for me, a lot of times the busyness helps me get through the day. And while I know so many of you like me miss him and think about him every day, I guess I feel like today is a day we should take a step back from all the busyness and remember.

Thank you for remembering.

See you in Heaven, Jacob.
