This website was created to keep family and friends informed on the progress of Nolan. Nolan went through a cord blood transplant for a metabollic disorder called Hurler Syndrome. Nolan was diagnosed on January 24, 2003. His transplant was April 4, 2003 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Nolan is 100% engrafted and developing well. Nolan still has GVHD problems, many orthopedic issues and is developmentaly delayed but we have hope for a wonderful future for him and thank you for the continued prayers and support for our precious son.
