Thursday, December 13, 2007 11:53 AM CST Wow,
We can't believe how fast this year has gone. Christmas is so close, we will be spending it with family, both near and far.
After over 6 years since Collin's accident we slowed down alot, we have gained a much needed rest and Peace with this. After so many years of go, go, go slowing down was the best thing we have done.
Collin is doing very well he says a few words and is eating a little by mouth and loves his MT.Dew or anything kind of drink by mouth even water.
This was the year we learned about having so much more faith in GOD'S plan as he has done Collin has done far better and is much much happier, although I am not good at "hurry up and wait" I am learning to wait for GOD'S Miracle for Collin.
Anyone who must go through this trial, becomes changed people although if you look at anyone around you know that life has changes for everyone through their whole lives, so we all change, I am pleased to say it is not just those who have gone through so much in a short time. Time changes ALL.
We wish all overseas a safe and Blessed Christmas and a safe return home. Also a BIG THANK YOU for keeping our country safe. May GOD be with you always.
This post is alot about the Holidays, A few months back we were watching Glenn Beck on his program he had Author JASON F. WRIGHT. His new book The Wednesday Letters is wonderful, but what caught me was his book CHRISTMAS JARS I read it in a few hours and it has become my favorite book ever, you can go to ~ www.christmasjars.com ~ to learn more, this book has touched me so much I hope you all get a copy it will be a favorite for years to come.
Well time to get more ready for CHRISTMAS.
BLESSINGS to all and may your new year be filled with MIRACLES and much JOY...
