As we tend to say in our house "up up up" is the way to go. My daughter is a relative newcomer to ITP, 13 years old and diagnosed in August. Her last count was 14,000 inceasing slowly but surely. Good for you - great website!

This is a great website. Now I know what to look for. Especially the mood swings you talked about. Sounds exactly like my Barry. I thought he was just being a teen. Barry is thirteen too. You are an inspiration. I hope and pray his platelet count soars. By the way, love the fooseball table. They have one at Barry's clinic and he just loves playing it with his Dad. They get quite loud. LOL Anyway, best wishes and "lots of platelets".

Great website. Glad to hear you're doing well -- no treatments!!! My son Alan was diagnosed at 14 and had treatments every 2 - 4 weeks for a year and a half. Then suddenly his counts began "creeping up." He's now 23 and hasn't had treatment since that time. Just graduated in sciences, is working for a year, and then hoping to go to medical school. Hoping he finds the 'cure" if someone else doesn't before then. Good luck Steven and enjoy that arcade.

Thank you for visiting Olivia's page. The title of your sons web page is very very true, not just a roller coaster with platelet numbers but with emotions. That is wonderful that the MAW foundation was able to put a smile on his face. Thanks for the uplifting news...were hoping she grows out of it (hopefully before she starts walking). I pray that your sons numbers stay up! God Bless!
