Dear Caroline and family,
Your journal entries and photos have provided my husband and I with the wealth of information that we have been seeking about the adoption process we are preparing to embark on ourselves.
Without knowing you, we are so happy for you, and for Julia and Alexandra.
Also, you have given us hope and helped to shape our dream of our own family.

Hello Postons family from Bogota, Colombia... It has been a very sad weekend with you gone and saying goodbye to Barb and the kids all within a few days. I see you haven't received my post from yesterday (who knows?) but anyway, we are so very glad you made it home safe and secure. We hope you are enjoying your bed and homemade breakfasts' and clean room and dinners prepared, oh wait, that's right, you're not here.... Sorry !!! Only kidding. We hope everything is well with little Alexandra, that she is getting comfortable in her new surroundings. Remind Julia that she promised me that she would help take care of her little sister. We miss you guys and look forward to seeing you all in July. May God Bless you always. Boy we miss those smiles from that beautiful baby.

We enjoy reading your journal reports, Craig, and are so relieved to hear that Julia's tests have gone well so far. We will stay tuned. Your description of your "calm" reaction to her episode reminded us of Steve when I fell and broke my wrist at the cottage. He was running around getting dressed, yelling at Riley to get dressed and grabbing the boat key all at once. I guess that's why males aren't mothers. You have certainly had a busy week! Thanks for sharing your experience with your photo gallery, Caroline - it is wonderful. We'll hope for a quick decision by the judge for you all.
Love,

Hi Craig, Caroline and crew,
We greatly appreciate the detailed updates, and I am green with envy, as there are no golf outings to be had in these parts given the cold snap and the snow. I hope you tapped into my email sent at the eleventh hour prior to your departure with a few suggested outings. Regardless, it appears that you are keeping very busy, and that things are going well. The FANA tour is always a highlight, and I think you very effectively captured the environment in your description for your friends. We're very excited for you both, and we look forward to seeing all 4 (!!!) of you upon your return. Remember, no trip to Bogota is complete without a visit to Norberto's! I might have missed this in a past entry, but I don't think you have experienced the smoothest shave in the world!!

Hi gang - Due to our quarterly release and an office move, I have not had the chance to read your daily diary excerpts until now. Wow (Craig) - you are truly prolific! But then again, with a couple of beautiful daughters like you have, I suppose that there is lots to write about. Alexandra is absolutely gorgeous and I am sure that she and Julia will be great friends. We met Betty at the FANA Fashion Show (what a lovely person) and she gushed about you guys, particularly #1 daughter. It sounds like things may be a bit slow again, but hopefully we will be able to spend some time down there sooner rather than later, although it definitely will not happen while you are there. You can be sure that we be at the airport to meet you when you get back. See you soon. Dave.

Congratulations on your second blessing and Julia's promotion to "big sister". You are a wonderful family and as soon as you get back, settled and things are running smoothly, we will be by with 2 pairs of figure skates and plunge you into the cold dark despair of arenas for the next 20 years! You'll emerge somewhat worn, weathered and grey(er) but the girls will love it......and it keeps them away from the boys which is obviously going to be a problem for you. Congratulations Caroline & Craig! Wow Julia! This is such exciting news! What a lovely picture of your beautiful new family. It was meant to be! We are so happy for you. The kids say Alexandra is really cute and they would love to hold her sometime. Lisa still thinks Julia should hide her favourite toys on the top shelf when you get home. "It's not the same now that you have a sister!" Rob, meanwhile wants to know if you'd like to get a little boy too. "Boys are are more fun than girls, no?" Ahem.
Thanks for sharing your adoption journey with us. We still remember those first few days when we met the kids too. Life will never be the same. That's a good thing! We wish you all the best during your stay in Bogata.

Dear Julia,

I am very excited that you have a new baby sister! We now have a real baby to play babies with us. Hopefully you will know how to change the diaper ?
Remember, if you need to get away for some quiet time , I am right across the street! My Mom says you are welcome for sleep overs any time especially if Robin cries alot.
I am sad you will not be here to trick n treat with me this year on Halloween ... but that is ok because you are getting a real big treat in Columbia!

Have lots of fun on your trip and I can't wait to meet Robin when you get home. Do you think she will like horses as much as you and I do ? Maybe Rexy will have a sister too ???

Lots of love from your playmate and next door neighbour!

Madison Fisher
XO

P.S. Lots of love and well wishes from my Mom and Dad too! Mommy can't wait to cuddle with Robin.
Congrats from Jenn & Tom !

I cried proud tears and tears of joy. Proud knowing that in your warmth and unconditional love, you have brought little Robin into your hearts and lives. Tears of joy knowing that the love and morals you have imparted to Julia will transcend to little Robin.
Julia will be a wonderful big sister. You are all truly blessed.

Paul and I wish you a safe journey as you meet your new "blessing". As we say in Guyana "walk in the corner". meaning take good care and stay safe.
Keeps the updates coming.
