Journal Thursday, August 26, 2010 8:46 AM PST Hi, September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month--more children die from this disease than any other. Please be aware of the symptoms of this disease. McKayla will reach her 5th year off treatment which means the physicians will considered her cancer cured on the last day of March. She underwent 27 months of chemotherapy. She would like to have a party around that time and instead of gifts, she would like donations made in her name to her three favorite charities--Andre Soble River of Life, Candlelighters, Loma Linda, Ca and Children Hospital Los Angeles 5th floor Hematology/Oncology playroom. These organizations have been great!!! McKayla was lucky to have an early diagnosis. let's help other children be lucky too. Read Journal HistoryHospital Information:
