We remembered and celebrated John this past August 18th. He would have turned 22. We toasted 7eleven slurpees to him up in Heaven. Hayley and Braden celebrated from their new home in Brooklyn, NY. Tamara was on her way to another Ragnar Rely. This one is in Oregon. The rest of us were in our new home in Draper, UT.
Since my last update, Hayley married Braden in October 2021. We moved to Draper, UT in January 2022. Luke graduated from Newbury Park and Corner Canyon high school. He is starting at Grand Canyon University on August 30. Cal and Lindsey are seniors and Kate is a junior at Corner Canyon High School that started last week.
I hope you all are doing well. We still miss John. Until then, I will keep donating blood/platelets and supporting curing cancer charities (Alexs Lemonade Stand Foundation, St. Baldricks, etc.) in his honor.
