Well, I must first apologize for waiting this long to update. Those of you who are in daily contact with me know that Izzy and I separated May 2004. It has been a long road; and there are definitely still bumps and road blocks....but we are all continually adjusting.

Hailey will be turning 10 years old next month! She is in the 4th grade and has been able to discontinue all her medication and has been entirely mainstreamed. We have kept a close eye on her between her main teacher, Special Ed teachers and her doctors. She has made unimaginable progress and contniues to do so. Academically, she is close to being at the same level as her peers. She is receiving tutoring from her teacher in math after school with some other students. Socially, she has completley blossomed! She has been able to make friends and keep them, for the first time this year! Emotionally, she has been able to control her temper for the most part and seems to be going through the normal ups and downs of a "pre-teen". I cannot believe I had to write that word!!!
