North Pole ‘09: A Historic Expedition
Forward Expeditions LLC, Chicago, Ill., is embarking on a historic North Pole expedition to raise awareness and funds for CaringBridge. Expedition team members John Huston and Tyler Fish will attempt to ski unsupported– not receiving or using any outside assistance such as airdrops, re–supplies or sled dogs–in their quest to reach the Pole.
R. Lee “Gunny” Ermey CaringBridge “Voice of Hope”
R. Lee “Gunny” Ermey, former Gunnery Sergeant, U.S. Marine Corps drill instructor and veteran actor, has been enlisted to be the “Voice of Hope” for CaringBridge.
Entertainment News: Supported Charity at Sundance
As a nonprofit, CaringBridge attends events like Sundance as a supported charity. During the festival, our representatives network with directors, writers, producers and celebrities who are in a unique position to build awareness of CaringBridge through entertainment opportunities.
