Joseph Buck's Page
Welcome to our Child's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about our Child. Joseph was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in June, 2002. He underwent 2 rounds of chemo at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. He was in remission after the first round of chemo. He had a bone marrow transplant (BMT) at Vanderbilt on Sept. 11, 2002. Something GOOD happened that Sept. 11. His sister, Rebekah, was the donor. Joseph and his mom, Donna, stayed in Nashville until Dec. 10, 2002. FIVE years later, Joseph is doing great. He is a student at JBU and works at Sam's Club. We enjoy having him live at home.
Journal
Monday, January 7, 2008 9:48 AM CST It has been a long time since I have updated Joseph's journal. Joseph had his 5 year check-up in Aug., 2007, at Vanderbilt. Joseph had a great report!
Joseph is a senior at JBU, a Christian university. He is still commuting back and forth. This year he and his sister, Anna, get to commute together (since she is now a freshman there).
Joseph is working at Sam's club in Fayetteville, AR. He is a senior and plans on graduating in May, '09.
We are indeed blessed to have Joseph doing so well. Thanks for your continued prayers for his health & direction for his life
