I was blessed to meet Job while he was in Savannah, TN this weekend participating in "Hunting for a Cure Youth Turkey Hunt". What a wonderful young man!
Every year Hunting for a Cure (HFAC) hosts a turkey hunt on the weekend of the Juvenile Turkey Hunt season in Tennessee to raise money for St Jude's Children's Research Hospital. This year we raised $70,500.00!!!! Thanks to all the hunters, guides, landowners who donated their hunting land, and all the volunteers!
Meeting someone like Job who has survived so many illnesses, really lets us know that we are making a difference with the small amount we are able to do. Even though Job was not a St Jude's patient, it's very likely that his treatment was possible due to research done at St Jude's.If you will e-mail me your address, I would like to send Job some pictures that were taken of him and his turkey. My e-mail address is vs_volfan@hotmail.com.
Again, it was a pleasure meeting Job and his triple-bearded turkey was 'AWESOME'.
Hope to see you next year!

Job had clinic Mon, Tues & Weds so Dr. Saylors talked to Rob & Tina Monday. He said that spot that lit up in Job's tummy was nothing. Praise God. Dr. Saylors and the ENT Dr. say no Chemo or Radiation. Job will get an MRI often for awhile to make sure nothing was hiding and starts to grow. Other than that, life back to normal. Praising God that they got it all.

Praying for Job and his family as you face this new battle. My nephew, Colton, used to be listed on Chase's page, so I've been following and praying for Job a long time. Hope the doctors come up with a plan soon and y'all can start fighting it. In some ways it is easier since you have an idea of what to expect but in other ways it is harder since you have an idea of what to expect. Praying for God's best.

Hello Everyone, Job had his biopsy and everything went well. They took 2 samples with a guided needle. With Job's history day meds were not comfortable doing it so he went to walk-in surgery. After he woke up he had to lay down for another 4 hours. We won't have any results until Tuesday the 17th or later. Please keep praying that all is well. In all things Dear Lord may your will be done. I will let you know as soon as we hear something. Thank you all so much.

Hello. My name is Heath Cross & my daughter was a Leukemia child. Brooklyn Cross. Brooklyn was diagnosed on April 1,2004, 2 1/2 weeks after her brother, Xavier, was born & 22 days before her 2nd birthday.Brooklyn had a long battle, including a bone marrow transplant on January 20,2010. She went to be with our Lord on December 3,2010 at 12:09pm due to double pneumonia, at the age of 8 1/2.Seeing your rerun episode on Extreme Make Over today brings back so many memories, good & rough. Job looks just like Brooklyn did last year. She was so full of life & such an awesome sense of humor. Being a single father & enduring it all alone was & is still hard. Thank you for sharing your story & getting the word out & letting people see how great these children are. I am on Facebook & have a page for Brooklyn on there as well called Brooklyn's God's Eyes. It's a ministry that Brooklyn had started before she passed for our military & children who need to know that God is watching over them.I would love to share more of her idea & just to hear from you all & know Job is doing well. Thank you all for the memories your story has brought back to me, good or bad. All is apart of the Lords plan.

Hi, I love the photo of Job and the dog. I had seen his story on Extreme Home Makeover and realized I was watching a show from 2008! I wondered how Job was doing now and was happy to have found a video of him throwing out the first ball at a ball game and his photo on this website. Like Job from the bible, it seems his life gets better as he gets older. Wishing him to continue to thrive and get better as time goes on.

Good evening McCully family! We record Extreme Home Makeover and watch it as a family. I know this episode aired awhile ago...but we're just getting to it now. We have a 9 year old boy and couldn't help but think of him when we watched it. It broke our hearts and I was so happy to google your name and see that you are doing well. We are familiar with CaringBridge as we currently have one for my brother (he broke his neck diving into a lake, but is doing really well and will hopefully walk soon). People all over the country are rooting for you and have you in their prayers, now and forever. I'm sure you will (and already have) had an amazing impact on people.

We will always be praying for your health and strength.

Just saw the story on a late night show of Extreme Makeover Home Editon and Job touched the heart of my daughter and I. We will keep Job in our prayers. He has a spirit that just radiates thru the television and into our hearts. We take so many little things for granted - getting so wrapped up in the day to day things that really don't even matter. It's reminders like Job that remind you what is REALLY important in life. Youre family is a true blessing and testimony of God's love and faithfulness.

Thank you for being bold and sharing your testimony on EMHE. I just saw the repeat episode this morning. I am in awe of how HOPE fills your life and guides it. As a former Pediatric nurse I know the torture Job went through. I am so happy to see the update--3 years later that he is doing so well. I just said a prayer that God will continue to use you all to bring others closer to Him!

Dear McCully Family, the story of your faith & strength contiues to bless many. I am laying in bed this morning having a pity party due to my back hurting and my father's illness while watching EMHE and i am just overcome by the faith you have in the Lord. You made me realize that God is always here for us and that nothing is too big for him. My problems are so small when looking at what your family went through and how much faith you still have. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. I will keep your family in prayer and prayer in my preteen group.

Hello, I saw your Extreme Makeover episode when it first aired and afain today. I was moved to tears and couldn't stop crying. In 2003 my grandson was diagnosed with AML. He underwent chemo for 6 months. He has been in remission since 2004. He is a 16yo honor student who is on his high school basketball and track teams. You and my grandson are truly inspirations and a living reminder that our God is is still in the healing business. God Bless You and your family.

When your show aired in 08/2008 I was extremely touched. There are families that I feel they dont appreciate what was given to them. I can honestly say you TRULY deserved everything that ABC did. After watching a repeat of your show today 04/18/2011, made me research how he was doing. I simply cried when I see that he was doing great as of Feb 2011. My prayers will continue to be with you Job and your entire family thru the journey of life. I am glad you keep up on his progress and it makes me realize how much you appreciate the finer things in life. Your son is truly a fighter and a survivor and I wish the very best for him.

Hey there, I live in South Africa so only recently had the opportunity of watching the Home make over edition with Job. "The house that Job built". I cannot even emphasize in words how much of a hero and an inspiration Job is to me. I had to immediately find out how he was doing as I could not stop thinking about him. The amount of suffering he has been through, and to come out with a smile on his face is just incredible. I take my hat off to Job and I wish him many more healthy and happy years. Another big up to his sister who seems to have kept strong and helpful throughout. You parents are just amazing. Your faith and perseverance and trust in God is huge.

I will continue to pray and think of Job. Keep going strong boy :)

I just read the guestbook entry before me. I too have been studying for finals and decides to take a break. I watched EMHE and was brought to tears when I saw Job. I have been studying for final exams all day and for some reason I decided to take a little break and turn on the TV and that's when I heard Job's story. I cannot express how much that boy touched me in the EMHE episode, his strength and courage at that age is something I could never dream of possessing and I'm 20. Such a beautiful family, we really need more McCulley's in this world. Job, you will stay in my prayers forever.

Dear Job and the rest of the McCully family,
I just watched your touching story on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and I was so deeply touched by it. Cancer is something that hits close to home, as I have seen both my parents, and some of my grandparents, go through it. Just recently, I had my own scare, but, thank God, I am okay. I can clearly see Christ's love in each and every one of your eyes, McCully family. And I see the Lord's strength in Job. I started crying during the episode, especially when Mark Schultz was performing for the children at the Hospital. I'm not the best Christian, and I make millions of mistakes everyday, but, you folks have made me realize that "With God, ALL things are possible"(Matthew 19 ). God shows His strength through Job, and I see a long and happy life for you, young Job. My prayers are with you all. God bless!

You are either in the hospital for the check-up or on your way and I wanted you all to know that I still have you on the prayer list and remember the revival in 1999 and all those precious people Elin and I met! It's been 10 years and a lot of water under the dam, but the Lord Yashua has been wonderful, merciful and compassionate in all those trying circumstances He has been with all of us in!

I praise the Lord so much for knowing you and the whole family!

Job I just watched Extreme Makeover and you touched my heart so much, I could not stop crying. I had been feeling really sad and upset because about two years ago I lost my husband in a terrible auto accident. I have been feeling so alone and depressed. It makes me sad that people take life for granted. My whole family has gone on with their lives and forgotten what it's like to lose someone you love. I can't tell you how happy I am that you are doing better. You are a true inspiration and your family is so loving. I'm also excited on your new home. You and your family deserve every good thing. You are in my prayers and I will keep up with you. I know God will bless you and keep you. You are a miracle. Remember Matthew 19:26 "With God all things are possible." I pray for the day that you have a full recovery. I know you have and will continue to be a blessing to many people. I just want you to know that you have touched my heart so deeply. Also saw those pictures of you and your family with the wild hog. I'm so glad you are able to enjoy togetherness with the ones you love. Hang in there, you have many people praying for you that love you. God bless you.

Hello everybody.

I am George Kaknis and i come from Greece. I am 32 years old.

Yesterday night i watched the episode of Ext. mak. Home Edition that featured Job and his story and i must say i was deeply touched by all the things that little boy had to face. I hadn't cried like that for a very long time. I want to give all my support to his family for their tremendous effort. They will really go to any length for their children. I am happy to know that Job is doing better (since it has been almost 18 months since the episode was aired in the US).

Hey there, Job... long time since I've commented, but I have been keeping up with you and your progress. I am so sorry for your setback... and for Nicole's infection... but you know what? God is still on the throne, and I know you will both be fine. I am citing you guys as an example of faith in God and not giving up in a devotional I've written for later this week. The scripture reference is 1 Cor 10:13 "No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it." (The Message)

If anyone takes this passage to heart and exemplifies it, it is you guys. Thanks for being such a shining example of faith for the rest of us. You are such great servants for Jesus, and we love you all!

I just finished watching the episode of EMHE which featured your family. I thought "This family is truly amazing. They have gone through so much and are an inspiration to everyone they meet." Learning your story has taught me so much. I was born with a severe bi-lateral cleft lip, a facial deformity. I had to go through several surgeries to fix my lip and nose so I could eat and breathe properly. I hated the hand I was dealt in life. When I watched the show, I felt ashamed at my self-pity. Job has taught me that I am a very lucky girl. You have a truly amazing son. I am happy to hear he is improving. Thank you so much and God bless.

Hi Job,I go to 1st Assembly of God in Walla Walla,Wa.and was just reading the Todays Pentecostal Evangel that I received a few months ago at church.I also watched you last October in Extreme Makeover.I searched my internet for your caring bridge site cause I have wondered about how you are doing. You are a great inspiration to me and think of your story often to keep me going. My son Jeremy who is forever 7 yrs'old died in January 2008 after battling a tumor in his brainstem for 6 1/2 months. My family agrees that you look alot like Jeremy when he was on steroids. He had those big cheeks and his favorite color was red.He loved pirates and u know those army pants you are wearing in that picture you have on your website on the 4th of July?Jeremy had pants just like those but now his brother who is now 7 wears them.I am so happy to read that you are doing well and that you are all okay from that car accident.take care and I will keep checking on you and keeping you in my daily prayers and thoughts. with love Mel Richards Walla Walla Wa.www.caringbridge.org/visit/jeremyrichards

Hi Job and Family,

Loved the home that Ty and the rest of the gang gave you. You are all such an inspiration to me and my family; I cannot tell you how blessed I was to see that episode, and to see those children that designers visited, and their shirts. I just finished watching the "house" being built for the second time.I once again was reminded what a gracious God we have.
I became disabled at age 47, but at least I can walk, talk and don't have any life threatening illness's.While my life has changed tremendously and I fight everyday to whatever I can to further God's work, even when I don't feel like it.
Job as once again reminded me what are cause in life is.
However, Job is only as strong as his family has taught him to be, and that is through faith in Jesus Christ.

Awesome post today & totally convicting! Holy Spirit went WAY past nudging me while I was reading this. Not about movie & TV choices, but just choosing to be lazy rather that being about the Father's business! How do we know that this time is not the very last time we will ever get the chance to speak to someone about Christ? I've missed SO many opportunities that are forever gone. I love you guys!

It really is cool to see Job standing (even if it is still with a walker). God is so good.

Job, I pray for you daily. As you grow older and begin to feel stronger and stronger, never forget what the Lord has done. God has a purpose for your life. It is so big. Your last days shall certainly be greater than your early days.

However, I have been praying for Job so long and to see the Lord perform such wonderful miracles is so overwhelming. I really love Jesus! I praise God alongside the McCully family and thank Him for what He has done and will continue to do in Job's life.

Hi Job,
I am so excited that you are just doing so awesome but God is an awesome God and he will continue to heal and bless you. I love to hear about the fun you're having playing ball, all the things you're doing in school (keep studying man!) and now summer is almost upon us for more fun times. I've got to call your mom and schedule a time to come see your beautiful home so you can show me your room that I helped on too. I see your Grandpa Bill and Grandma Betty several times a week in Morrilton at 4C's doing exercises and always ask about you. Keep up the good work and my prayers continue with you and all your family. Love, Ida Rose, Perryville

Way to go Prsident McCully! Remember way way back when I said you were going to be so famous you would have to hire me as a manager? Well I need a job! Will you hire me now? I could be your political manager and also manage your promising baseball career. And how about that Nicole. Great photo!!! I could give you a family plan - I would also manage Nicole's modeling career, your mom and dad's public speaking career as they tell about thier incredible faith and journey, plus for the same price I would manage grandma Glenda's engagements on how to be an awesome grandmother. What a deal!!! I am so glad God is blessing you and your entire family with so many great things. All great rewards for your unending faith in him.

I would like to ask all of Job's warriors to pray for Affiliated Foods. They are having a very difficult time and unfortunatly had to lay me off. Pray for them to recover so I can return back to my amazing work family I so dearly miss.

Congrats to Nicole on the math contest! That is so great! Oh, and I love the pics. Those are the kind that make a dad cringe, when he sees his little girl looking so grown up and beautiful! Then he goes and gets his shotgun to hold in his hand when the boys start coming around!! haha

I hope ya'll have a safe trip to St. Louis and that all tests are perfect. I'm also praying for Job to continue to get stronger and that he will soon be walking, then running! Still praying for Job.. OUR GOD IS ABLE! Love and prayers...

I just watched the Extreme MakerOver Home Edition episode and was introduced to you and your family. I was so touched and inspired. You, your family, your community are unbelieveable. I have never in my life seen so much support, care, and love. Nor have I ever seen so many people come together and do something so selfless. I cried throughout the entire show.

Thank you for being such a strong and happy person! I thank you and your community for showing me that there is still good in the world and that people can come together and do something completely selfless to benefit one another. Your story has rebuilt my faith in humanity and re-affirms that being a kind, considerate, compassionate person is not a waste of time. It is noticed, and it does mean something.

Job you have captured my heart. I love you, you are my hero. My thought and prayers are with you. I would love to keep in touch with you and your family somehow.

With much joy,
A.

I walked in on Job today immediately after he had finished his therapy. His hair was wet, his therapist had celebrated with him by pouring water on his head with the water bottle. He was so excited, he had walked the long hallway with his walker with no help. I was so excited, I got all teary eyed and my first grade students wanted to know why I looked like I was going to cry. I had to explain to them what "tears of joy" were! He is so amazing and has so much determination. I was kind of grouchy before seeing that but that put me in a great mood on a Friday afternoon! Thanks Job! BTW, I owe you a pack of Nerds!

hey! angel man. i'm so proud of you. we all are your cheer leaders. well. i need to be honest with you. you are a xerox copy of your dad. when you get older, they won't be able to tell you apart. then, what are ya gonna do??lol?
seriously job, the more you walk, the more you feel comfortable with it. the fear will go away. hold your head high my little angel man. there is this little thing called self-confidence. but it can be mighty powerful. god gave it to everyone to use. sadly, not everyone uses it. only strong people can make it work. you are very strong in spirit. god chose you to have this precious gift. hold on tight job! let's see where this takes you. you are so mature for your age. that's why god chose you. even in your sad and lonely times. god is right there. he is in your future just waiting for you with opened arms. but on the way, god will smile if you had some fun.
take care, my little angel man.

Rob,

It is so good to see you guys making progress. I can totally relate to your situation, my daughter contracted bacterial meningitis when she was born. We have struggled with her health but things are getting better for us as well.

Job and your family are in our prayers.

Best Regards, Michael Needham.

I am so encouraged to hear all the wonderful news of progess with Job. He is so awesome. I praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy. Job has an awesome testimony.

I am still praying daily, as are my children. It is funny how all my children know Job by name and really care about him too. It is awesome to be able to share with them how great God is through Job's testimony.

God bless you guys. I love you!

WOW JOB WAY TO GO LIL MAN!!!!!!! I am so proud of you...Just one step closer to being out of that wheelchair. It sure is so amazing how things work out in your favor Job. God is looking over so much that he made sure that your reward would be granted for all your hard work and for well just being you that he has made very special in so many peoples lives. You keep working really hard and I am sure that you will be walking in no time at all without any help. Being able to play and run with your friends will be one of the final steps in your full and miraculous recovery that God has in store for you. I feel sure that is his plan for such a special person like you. Oh hope the movie was a good one my boys went to see it with there school and they loved it.

Way to go Job! That is so awesome. It must have felt really great to meet that goal and I am so glad that SOMETHING mysteriously happened to that movie timer. I choose to agree with your mom, God wanted your reward to be able to see the whole movie! Wonder how great his reward will be when you meet that next goal. I know you can do it!
