My “Easter Bunny” went off to the shop,
He bought me an egg and lots of chocs
And packed them into a cardboard box.
Then he wrapped it with paper and shiny string
It really was such a pretty thing.
Disaster struck when I opened the door-
He slid across the parquet floor,
He went round the corner and past the stairs
And finished up in a pile of chairs.
Of the Easter goodies not a trace,
he’d thrown them into my fireplace!
So a warning before you go opening doors

Well, our flock certainly is getting interesting. We got Dasani, the Blue Headed Pionus just a few weeks ago, and now we've added our fifth (and final) member. I felt bad for Dasani, because he is smaller than our amazon, macaw, and Congo African Grey....so we got him a pal! Meet Mokuba, aka "Moki." (Mokuba is Kaiba's younger brother on YuGiOh) Moki has such a brilliant yellow! He is a Jenday and absolutely adores Dasani. He has pretty blue and purple tail feathers, too. They wanted you to know they're thinking about you!

Hey Elijah, how are you doing? I hope you all are enjoying your summer!!! Did I ever tell you we found some bunnies in our backyard recently. Actually, our dog did - the kids were in the pool and she was barking like crazy under the pool deck. Finally when we checked there was a bunny nest with a baby bunny in it. Then after more looking through it we found 2 more. So since I have 3 kids and there was 3 bunnies, they each named one. We left lettuce and water and carrots out there but it was never touched so we dont think the mom came back. About 2 days later we took them in to feed them and we had them a week, feeding them kitten milk from a kitten bottle or dropper. They were SO cute! They called them Jean, Robin and Nibbles. My son Gooch called his Jean, named after Jean Smart in XMen. They opened their eyes while we had them and by the end of the week we had them they were running all over, more running than hopping. My husband was convinced they were going to grow up and bite our fingers off, so we turned them over to a Childrens Museum that is a wildlife rehab center near us. I hope they are being taken care of, if they werent already released. I know the kids loved them and they really were cute!! That was our thrill for the summer – hope you are enjoying yours!

As I scanned the list of names on the Chubby Chica.com site I noticed Elijah's name...strong and bold in the Lord...then I saw his sister...Hosanna...I was reminded of a great hymm that we sang at my church that would always touch my heart...HOSANNA, HOSANNA...BLESSED BE THE ONE, BLESSED BE THE ONE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD...

As I set out on this journey the Lord has so graciously blessed me with...I was scared and angry...but as always, He remained faithful carrying me through each of the rough spots until I was able to understand a greater purpose...I am human so I am never without doubt...without sin...but I ahve faith that can move mountains...and I believe in Him.

Our Lord and God is such a wonderful God. I am so happy that Both children are doing so well. I never doubted for a minute that they would not. The Bible says ask and you shall recieve. When we pray To God and ask for something in His name and for His glory we are assured of his promise.
My wife was privilaged to get to hold Elijah David when he was just a few days old ,in Wendys Restaurant in Mena.He had such beautiful Red hair and His Grandparens were so Proud of him. I can see why. Elijha David and Hosanna are such beautiful Children. And may I add They are blessed with wonderful Parent and Grandparents. God Bless All of You.

I am so happy that and Hosanna are doing so great, you are both little miracles like my daughter Jessica, Jessica was also diagnosed with NB Stage IV, and on top of that it was N-Myc Amplified, Jessica was given a 30% chance of survival. but she like you, had many angels on her side, and God has big plans for her, just like you. Jessica has one more year to go before being considered cured, and she has many health problems that are caused by the chemo, but I don't care, she is hear with me. That is all that matters. Maybe the 3 of you will grow up and be the ones to find a cure against cancer.

We have been in prayer for Hosanna since last December when we heard about her problem. We are now adding Elijah to this list. We have also put Hosanna on prayer chains in both Arizona,Iowa and Texas. We will do the same for Elijah
Both will be at the top of our list. I have had a few people who work for me ask if they could send money since they do not know any postal workers. Please setup a account so the can be a part of this fight in addition to being prayer warriors. I think the attitude of the people we have shared this with can be summed up best by this illistration. After seeing a picture of Hosanna, hearing her story for the first time and hearing about Elijah for the first time looked me in the eye with tears in his eyes and said why does the coward (satan) have to pick on these sweet kids. Then he ask me why God allow such things to happen. The only answer I could give "For His Glory" and you are fixin to see his Glory not only once but twice. He said we are at war are we not. I said we are. He joined the winning team and ask where he could support with some funds. Thanks for letting me share this little story that so illustates how people react when I tell them about the two gifts of God.

I pray to God that he will heal Elijah! I just heard about Elijah and Hannah from a friend who lives in Mena, and I am so saddened by this news of two children so sick, but I know God has some plan, some miracle planned for them. I will also ask my church to be praying for them, and as I'm in the military, my church family here where I'm stationed; in Diego Garcia, an island in the Indian Ocean,; and they will ask their churches in the states to be praying for them as well. God bless you Elijah! and may you grow strong in the Lord who is our Saviour!

God's perspective on this situation. Set you up on High where the waters cannot overwhelm you.
v30 says: I will praise the name of God with a song (power in praise in the midst of trials) and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. (May God be magnified, He is bigger that this problem)
My prayers are with you and I am going to try to download the pictures of Hosanna and Elijah so we can put them on our projector screen at church so our church family can begin to pray for your whole family. We love you .

We are praying, not only for Hosanna and Elijah, but that God will protect all of the family from any more attacks from the devil. He knows that these are the last days and he doesn't have much time. He doesn't want people around who declare the word of God...but God does. Healing is not a a hard thing for God. I know that all of you are tired in body and mind, but I feel that it is close to the end of the battle. Remember the song that is on your tape, "Thread of Hope".
