Welcome to Brandon's Web Page. It was provided to keep everyone updated on how Brandon was doing. Brandon was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in his marrow only on October 22, 2001. He had been on treatment for 14 months and was in remission for 13 months when he relapsed on December 17, 2002 in his spinal fluid. We started treatment all over, using a 2 year treatment of stronger chemos and radiation. He was back in remission about 3 weeks later and stayed in remission for 2 years and 10 months when he started experiencing bone pain. He went in during his regular appointment and his CBC results were a little off so he had to go back a week later on November 1, 2005 and the results were even worse so they did a bone marrow and a spinal and we found out that he had relapsed in his bone marrow. He had been off treatment for almost 10 months. The doctors got him back in remission by day 15 but then in March 2006 he relapsed in his marrow again. Brandon had his cord blood transplant on May 10th, 2006 and was inpatient for about 28 days or so. He did really well. We had some minor bumps in the road with HHV-6 and BK viruses, but those are treatable. As of March 15th, 2007 we were told that the "monster" was back. October 24th 2007 Brandon was admitted for pneumonia and unfortunately his sweet lil' body couldn't fight it off. Brandon earned his halo and wings on November 12th 2007. He will be sorely missed. I will try continue to update his page occasionally to let you all know how we are coping with the loss of such an amazing boy. Hope you enjoy visiting Brandon's webpage.

Sunday, December 18, 2016 8:13 PM CST Wow, it has been five and a half years since I last updated Brandon's page. Not sure if anyone still comes to his page or not. It's actually been a long time since I have been here. I barely remembered how to get to his page or the log in information. He is still very much a part of our lives, but at some point I just stopped coming here. It has been nine years since he died, and it's still so very hard some days. Most days are really good days though.
We are all doing well. Jordan is about to turn 20 in a few days and is now living on his own in an apartment with a friend in North Little Rock. He is a server at Texas Roadhouse and is doing really well. Savannah is 15 and is a freshman in high school. She is on the high school swim team and loves it. She is also on the forensics team (acting/debate). Ernie is retired from the Air Force and we are now back in Arkansas. He is working for USPS. I am now an L&D nurse and loving it!! It's what I have always wanted to do.
I hope that you are all doing well. Who knows when I will update again 😬 until then. Merry Christmas and God Bless!!
