Nellie - Sam came down this morning and the first thing he asked was "How is that boy that we played with last year? Is he still sick?" I had just checked Sean's website so I pulled Sean's picture up for Sam to see. Sam said, "Wow, he looks great!" Out of the mouths of babes!

Nel, Oh my gosh, Taylor said she thought she saw Sean in clinic, bu by the time we got back there we did not see them again. I wish I had known. It has been so long since we have gotten to visit with you guys. I hate about the problems with the kidneys, but hopefully the liquids will help. Please know we think of you all often. So glad to hear that Sean is doing well. We'll be praying that his cough and fever goes away soon. I know that even these little things worry us Moms! I check in on Sean often to see how he is doing. I can remember all too well eating together in that "lounge" back in BMT, asking each day how our children were doing, putting a smile on our face because we felt we should. We are so happy that Sean is cancer free and that the transplant worked. That is such a blessing and a miracle. May GOD keep granting these miracles!

Awww! I agree 100% about the importance of being a stay at home mom! While it is a bit of a thankless job at times, the rewards are so precious. We still have Sean in our prayers every day. First, thank you SO much for your donation to LNLC. Wouldn't that be something if little Joey ends up being Valentine Prom King!!
I had to chuckle when I read your latest entry in Sean's journal. That same exact situation has happened over here - Joey rarely sees his pediatrician, its always one of his specialists and like you, I can't even remember the phone number of Joey's pediatrician, but I can tell you the number to all eight of his other doctors!!

Ha! I remember the first time I was told that. i wanted to argue. However, we made it! It is funny though, the pediatrician sees us, but he always goes and calls Dr. Berkow and runs by his plan!
