Patient Page Welcome to our Patient Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about the kidney transplant for Kay and the kidney donation of Sat Jivan. There has been a wondrously positive side to this transplant experience and it has been the outpouring of love and concern exhibited by all our friends. Shakespeare said it best, “I am wealthy in my friends." I was lucky to have grown up as a little sister with a big brother to chart the course. I wanted to do everything he did and be everywhere he was. He was my idol. Now with failing kidneys he has come to my rescue. His attitude toward this operation has changed it from a most dreaded event to an awesome, life-giving adventure. Thank you my big brother – my hero. Thanks especially to his family for allowing him to undergo this operation on my behalf. And Thanks to my family and friends for being there for me.

Thursday, March 31, 2005 4:56 AM CST Tom and I got home yesterday at noon. Dorothy was exactly right, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home." And again, thank you all for taking the time to contact me. Your encouragement and good wishes have gone a long way in helping me survive and thrive through this experience.
Love to you all! kay
