Journal

I cannot believe it has been 4 years since my baby girl left us. She would have been 20 years old this year and I'm sure I would have still been calling her "my baby girl". I think about all of you out there who checked on her through this site and who were there with us. I miss my angel so much!

Dear Mr. Hallmark,

I am writing to you from heaven, and though it must appear,
A rather strange idea, I see everything from here,
I just popped in to visit, your stores to find a card,
A card of love for my parents, as this day for them is hard,
There must be some mistake I thought, every card you can imagine,
except I could not find a card, from a child that lives in heaven,
they are still a parent too, no matter where I reside,
I had to leave, they understand, but oh the tears they cried,
I thought that if I wrote to you, that you would come to know,
that though I live in heaven now, I still love my parents so,
they talk with me, and dreams with me, we still share laughter too,
memories are our way of speaking now, would you see what you can do?
my parents carry me in their heart, their tears they hide from sight,
they plants flowers in my garden, there my living memory dwells,
they writes to other grieving parents, trying to ease there pain as well,
so you see Mr. Hallmark, though I no longer live on earth,
I must find a way, to remind her of her wondrous worth,
they need to be honored, and be remembered too,
just as the children of the earth will do,
thank you Mr. Hallmark, I know you will do your best,
find a way to tell them, how much they mean to me,
until I can do it for myself, when she joins me in eternity.

Deanna...

When you were here on earth,
You blessed us with your smile,
You were always nice to people
Even thought some were vile!
We never saw you frowning
Or even a little sad
You kept a smile on your face
Even when things were bad
The pain you went through
Was all kept inside
The suffering, the hurting,
You would just hide
You were so strong
To go through what you did
You showed such bravery
To be just a kid
You are my hero now
Because of what you went through
I don't know what I would've done
Had I have been you
Even though you're gone,
We will forget you never,
Your spirit lives on...
We love you Deanna~~~FOREVER.
