On December 17 1997 Andruw was dianogsed with retinablasoma or eye cancer.He went through 7 months of chemo 6 weeks of radation not to mention the removal of his left eye all before he was a year old.They wanted to keep him over night be we wanted him home with us. They gave him pain medicaton. But he was to strong willed and did not need any at all. The doctors were amazed how he coped since the operation was a major one. He is our little trooper and a 7 year cancer suvivor.

Andruw is doing good at this time enjoying his summer break going to camp and would love to get some wal-mart gift cards for some new school clothes.
