I am truly sorry for not updating this journal for sooooo long. There has been a lot going on in our lives.
Since the last journal entry, Hailey has taken a trip to Disney World in Orlando complements of Make-A-Wish. She and Sabrina(mom) and her twin brothers, Cody and Trevor had a wonderful trip. Sabrina's sister, Sarah, went along to help take care of the kids. Thanks a million to Make-A-Wish!!! This is such a great organization that has made thousands of children happy.
Sarah has since gone to college (one of the reasons for not updating as quickly as I should have - this is such an adjustment!!!!)
After the trip to Disney, Hailey went on the maintenance program with her chemo. And she was doing great - she had even been able to start school this fall. But about three weeks ago her white count started falling and the doctors pulled her from school, and suspended her chemo until the counts rebounded. They have continued to stay low.
Last week Hailey broke her arm while riding her bike, but she's doing pretty good with it.
Yesterday Hailey was admitted to Vanderbilt because her counts are still extremely low and she was running a fever. Please pray that her counts will rebound quickly.
